Liberty Ross has filed for divorce from Rupert Sanders, who famously cheated on her last year with Kristen Stewart, whom he was directing in Snow White and the Huntsman . Ross just filed the paperwork in Los Angeles County Superior Court. She’s asking for joint custody of their two children, ages 5 and 7, as well as spousal support and legal fees. Sanders has filed a response to the divorce petition. He’s also requesting joint custody but not asking for spousal support. Ross and Sanders reportedly went to a couples’ counselor a number of times trying to work out their issues after the scandal, but it was not meant to be. No word on what the tipping point was, but it’s clearly irreconcilable. Rupert Sanders’ cheating with Kristen Stewart was revealed last summer when celebrity gossip photographers caught them in the throes of … something. They never had sex, but it was enough to temporarily break up Kristen and Robert Pattinson, and apparently torpedo Rupert’s marriage to model Liberty. Sanders, 41, is also reportedly out as director for the Snow White sequel . Ross, 34, is rumored to be moving back to the UK with the couple’s children. That has not been confirmed, however.
