Moments ago, TMZ reported that Jared Fogle will plead guilty to possession of child pornography as early as Wednesday. The Subway spokesman has reportedly reached a plea deal, the terms of which have not been released to the public. It is not yet known if the 37-year-old father of two will serve prison time. Fogle’s troubles began last month when his home was raided in connection to a larger child porn investigation. At first, it was reported that authorities were simply covering their bases after arresting an employee of Fogle’s charity, who had allegedly been using company computers to store illicit images of children. However, Fogle was suspended by Subway just one day after the raid, and the investigation into his past quickly turned up a number of ugly incidents. Most recently, it was revealed that Fogle admitted to paying 16-year-old girls for sex in text messages that he allegedly sent to a female former Subway franchise owner. The woman declined to be identified, but she says Subway execs ignored her complaints in favor of maintaining their spokesman’s squeaky-clean image. Fogle has been employed by Subway since 2000, when commercials touting his 200-pound weight loss first hit the airwaves. He has earned an estimated $15 million in his time with the company.
