Sherri Shepherd Leaving The View Sherri has had quite a rough go of things in her personal life the last few months. Are things now getting a bit choppy in her professional life as well?? Shepherd’s team sent the following statement to Deadline earlier today: “It’s been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity.
