Source: Paula Lobo / Getty Whoopi Goldberg Calls Out Black Republicans Over Trump Racism Ben Carson, Candace Owens , you deplorable hotep negroes, colored-contacted faux pastor, Diamond & Silk where y’all at??? Donald Trump’s racist a$$ tweets appear to have fallen on the deaf ears, mute mouths, and cowardly hearts of the Republican party. This morning on The View, the entire panel, including habitual crybaby Meghan McCain, spent 9 minutes laying into 53% of white women’s president. In an effort to put a finer point on the topic, Whoopi Goldberg took a moment to SPECIFICALLY call out Black folks who have chosen to do the devil’s work as Republicans. Press play to hear what she had to say. A pox on all of their houses.

You're forgive if you forgot that Jenny McCarthy was ever a panelist on The View. The infamous anti-vaxxer didn't leave a major impression on the talk show… she was only there for one season… and the show has had approximately 769 panelists since the time she left. But McCarthy sure is making headlines now in relation to her stint as a co-host. In her comments featured in the book Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View , McCarthy explains why the atmosphere surrounding the show made her so miserable, honing in specifically on Barbara Walters. And the story of a dirty tampon? Yes. Scroll down to find out what McCarthy claims she went through as a member of The View's constantly-rotating cast… 1. When the Heck was Jenny McCarthy on The View? From 2013-14. She sat alongside Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg as the main panel during her stint. 2. Did She Leave on Good Terms? Not really. There was no explosive scandals or anything, but Shepherd announced her departure from the show and then McCarthy Tweeted: “If Sherri goes … I go too. My View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks. Thanks to everyone at the show for your dedication and an amazing year.” 3. See Ya, J Mac! The View chose not to renew McCarthy’s one-year contract and then simply said after she confirmed her departure: “The View will be moving in an exciting new direction next year, and ABC has made decisions to evolve the show creatively.” Not exactly lots of gratitude expressed by either side, you know? 4. And Now We Know Why The book “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View” comes out on April 2, 2019 and takes readers inside the show’s set. Excerpts have already been released, however, most of them featuring McCarthy’s very negative comments. 5. Juicy! What Did She Say? “Every day I went home and I was miserable,” the former Playboy model admitted. “It really was the most miserable I’ve been on a job in my 25 years of show business.” 6. Let’s Hear More, Right? The main issue was Walters, McCarthy explained: “Imagine a woman like Barbara Walters. It’s her last year and she doesn’t want to leave. Think about that. And I’m the new bitch here.” View Slideshow
No show has ever needed a “talking stick” type of mechanic quite like The View . After last week's uncomfortable discussion about Joy Behar's history with blackface , they're now discussing politics. Well, they're trying to. In this clip, Joy brings the discussion to a halt after Meghan McCain throws an on-air hissy fit. “What about Senator Amy Klobuchar?” Joy Behar asks rhetorically, kicking off a new topic. “She kicked off her Presidential campaign in the middle of a blizzard,” Joy notes. “And,” Joy continues. “Trump mocked her.” Joy continues to try to set up for the next portion of the discussion. Unfortunately, Meghan is already trying to interject with her opinion. It's literally her job to voice her views — it's right there in the show's name — but she's supposed to let Joy finish introducing the topic. Trump's tweet, attempting to roast Klobuchar, was his usual nonsense. He can't understand that climate change actually causes extreme weather on both ends despite an overall trend of warming. So he thinks that blizzards won't happen because of climate change (even though, obviously, a warming climate means more moisture in the air in many places). We get it — his brain is bad. That's been clear for a long time. But Meghan can't even let Joy read through something as short as a tweet without trying to interject. In fact, Meghan loudly says: “You know what?” while Joy is reading, and then we hear a smack , presumably of her note cards hitting the table. They then go into Klobuchar's response to Trump, which was to point out that his fake hair wouldn't look great in a blizzard. Meghan laughs nervously, saying: “It's stupid, it's all so stupid.” Abby Huntsman (who looks so much like her dad ) suggests that other politicians should rise above Trump's tactic of slinging insults. And then they get into the merits of whether women have an advantage, since Trump insulting women always looks worse to the public. I can't say that I agree with Abby on all of her views, but she does have a very congenial way of talking, even when she's wrong or being sarcastic. But Meghan was clearly chomping at the bit and felt like she was being steamrolled. “Can I say something now?” Meghan whines. (I don't want to be mean to Meghan — in fact, years ago, I really liked her! But oh gosh, that's exactly what she's doing) “Is that okay, Joy?” she asks sarcastically. “Do I have permission to speak now on Amy Klobuchar?” She looks at the audience as she asks this, as if appealing for sympathy. “We’re all good?” she asks indignantly. “Okay! Two quick things. Number one, I have friends that were at her announcement,” Meghan begins. She then cuts herself off, presumably at Joy's astonished facial expression. “Alright, no!” Meghan says. “By all means, keep going, Joy!” Clearly, Meghan thinks that Joy was trying to interrupt her. Joy makes it clear that this was not the case. “No,” Joy jokes. “If you're gonna have a hissy fit, we can't continue.” Her voice tone and her fake sullen expression make it clear that Joy is joking, here. There are times when Meghan McCain makes really great points on The View. Part of her appeal on the show is that she can really jump in and make a powerful point … every now and then. But she does spend a lot of time as the show's primary antagonist — even when her co-stars do not necessarily disagree with her. She seems to have an adversarial disposition towards her castmates. But they've faced off before, and seem to be able to keep things civil when they're not on camera. The View exists mostly for entertainment. They discuss the news rather than report it. That said … seriously. They might want to figure out a way to determine who talks when. At the very least, it might appease Meghan, who seems to constantly feel like she's being silenced. (She's not being silenced. She's literally being paid to speak)
If you’ve ever watched The View , you’ve obviously found yourself thinking “dumb opinions just aren’t represented enough on this show!” That may be about to change. Apparently ABC is looking at none other than disgraced former Today host Megyn Kelly to become a full-time host on The View . RadarOnline reports that Megyn Kelly might have a permanent seat at the table on The View . “They want her as a full-time host,” a network insider reveals. Megyn would become another talking head on the all-female panel that includes Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, and Meghan McCain. “Execs are very hot on the idea,” the source shares. If you are of the opinion that one can never have enough blondes whose name is a variation on Megan , then sure. Apparently, it is the network’s view that Megyn would bring a much-needed voice to the show. “They think she would be able to keep up with [co-host] Whoopi Goldberg,” and insider says. “And keep her in check.” Why does Whoopi need to be kept in check, exactly? We don’t seem to recall her losing control and eating a guest’s face. But some at ABC are loving the idea. The source says: “They think it would be blockbuster to have her.” Sure, it is just as good of an idea as the concept of the Blockbuster chain of stores sounds in late 2018. It’s important to note that a rep for ABC flatly denied that they’re looking to bring Megyn Kelly over to The View . But RadarOnline ‘s source insists that they’re in the early stages of negotiations, but that Megyn’s eager to eventually join the show. So … we’re definitely treating this as an unconfirmed report. Speaking of negotations, she’s still negotiating with NBC to leave with all of the money they’d promised her. There was also talk about Megyn going back to her old network, FOX. “Once the non-compete clause is figured out,” the insider says.” The View is most likely going to be one of the first places she appears on.” The source continues that she’ll appear “at least as a guest, at first.” Apparently, one thing that Megyn would like to talk about on television is how her latest gig ended. “Megyn likes the idea of having a real conversation and not a fake conversation about what happened at NBC,” the insider reveals. “She finally wants to say what execs told her,” the source continues. “They said if she apologized, they would have her back.” The insider adds: “She did apologize and they didn’t have her back.” Of course, maybe NBC executives didn’t realize how much damage she had done, or how intense the backlash would be. And maybe they realized that, if they didn’t end her reign now, she’d say something worse, later. “She asked for $10 million to sign a confidentiality agreement,” the source says. “But,” the insider continues. “NBC isn’t going to pay that.” The source explains: “So she’s saying, ‘okay, I’ll expose it all.'” That won’t endear her to her former employers, and what looks like legal blackmail won’t look great to future employers, either. But better blackmail than blackface, we guess. But seriously, how many blonde centrist-conservatives whose names are some permutation of Megan does The View need? Either there will be two of them, or Meghan McCain will leave the show only to be replaced by Megyn Kelly. Both of those scenarios sound awkward as hell. We hate to boil it down to hair color and names, but that’s something that execs should keep in mind. Also, since Megyn Kelly’s ratings on Today were described as “historic lows for NBC,” maybe she’s not exactly a ticket to success. View Slideshow: 11 Times Megyn Kelly Was Really Very Racist
Some Black Family Preciousness: Melissa Harris Perry And Family At The View We’re finally getting a good look at that baby girl we have heard so much about since Melissa Harris-Perry made the announcement about her arrival in 2014. The beautiful and intelligent scholar and television host made an appearance on the show Monday to discuss her departure from MSNBC following an email she sent revealing how she’d been mistreated by network execs. Harris-Perry told the hosts: ‘Did I think it was racialized? Not in the sense of like they’re coming after Melissa for being black. ‘Do I think it has racial implications? 100 percent. Our show had the most diverse guests on cable news, period. Taking this show off the air, even if you put me individually back on as a host, meant that the folks who sat at our table, whether they were transgender, women of color, Latino Republicans, they just weren’t going to be there anymore – because we were the folks who put them on air each and every week.’ She also went into further detail about why she sent the email, saying the network basically put her on pause because she didn’t want to focus solely on the presidential election: ‘The easiest way to describe this is if you think about a relationship. Have you ever been dating somebody and presumably you guys are still dating but not really – like he hasn’t called? ‘Y’all haven’t not been out in months. And all the places where you used to go together, actually he’s out there with somebody else and you’re like, I am pretty sure we are not dating anymore. ‘That’s kind of what happened with the show.’ Wow that’s deep! You know what they say: A story is not truly a story until it is discussed on The View. Okay, we may be the first website to ever actually say that. But the women of this annoying talk show still sat around on Tuesday morning and took sides in the Kanye West versus Taylor Swift beef. Late last week, of course, Kanye rekindled a feud that we thought died many years ago, rapping about how he made Swift famous . Swift didn't personally respond to this attack… until she won Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards on Monday evening and gave a speech in which she warned young women about those out there who will try to “undercut” their success. She might as well have been holding up a middle finger at Kanye, basically. There really isn’t much to debate here, considering how well Taylor handled West’s random attack – but Michelle Collins still tried to argue that it's actually an “honor” to be referenced by Kanye in a song. Fortunately, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg both shot her down pretty quickly. How did Raven-Symone try to claim that the death of Kanye's mother is actually to blame for the artist's many outbursts? Watch below to find out and try to decide if you agree with this panelist:
After cropping out Raven Symone this week , Nene Leakes explains exactly why she threw shade at the The View hosts following the Ex-RHOA star’s appearance on the daytime talk show. Nene also spoke about her impact on RHOA… And was very humble.
