In a cute little twist on those rumors that Taylor Lautner might play a young Wolverine in X-Men: First Class , his Eclipse director David Slade has emerged as a frontrunner (alongside Red’s Robert Schwentke) to helm Wolverine 2 . Vulture says that the deal will be finalized after Hugh Jackman meets with both directors next week, which should give Slade plenty of time to figure out why some wolves have chest hair and some don’t .
