Actress heads to New York to work on ‘The Beautiful Life.’ By Jocelyn Vena Mischa Barton Photo: Eamonn McCormack/ WireImage After her hospitalization earlier this month, Mischa Barton heading to the New York set of her new TV series, “The Beautiful Life.” The actress was released from the hospital earlier this week, and according to People.com the actress “will be resuming production as planned with the rest of the cast in NYC,” her rep said in statement. “She’s back to business as usual.” Barton is expected to hit the set Friday with the rest of the cast, which includes “High School Musical” star Corbin Bleu, after she was reportedly hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for an involuntary psychiatric hold on July 15 for “medical issues.” On Monday her rep confirmed that Barton had been released from the hospital and was improving. “She was released early last week and has been improving since with the intention of resuming production with the rest of the cast [of her CW show ‘The Beautiful Life’],” he said in a statement.
