Jason Collins became the first openly homosexual athlete in major American team sports when he came out as gay in Sports Illustrated last month. Barkley said on The Dan Patrick Show that he has played with 3-4 gay men during his 16-year career, and those are just the players he knows about. The NBA Hall of Famer did not reveal the athletes in question.
