Earlier today, Us Weekly released the first photo of Teresa Giudice  in prison. It was a shock to see the usually posh Housewife in a military-green jumpsuit, but overall, the response to Teresa’s big house look has been overwhelmingly positive. Even better than the favorable feedback, however, is the huge (and much-needed) payday that the Giudices scored from selling their pics to Us. There were rumors that Teresa had sold the photo for big bucks long before the pic actually made its online debut, and now, Radar Online is reporting that the price tag was slightly lower than expected, but the image still netted a tidy sum for the struggling Giudices. Sources say the pic sold for $75,000, and despite rumors that it was snapped with a smuggled cell phone, it seems the photo was actually okayed by the staff at Danbury Correctional. “It was staged in the prison using a service where inmates can take photos with family each Sunday,” says one insider.  “The family desperately needs the money and Teresa had no problem using her family to make a few extra bucks while she’s behind bars. She’s shameless!” We don’t if “shameless” is the word we’d use for a mother in a desperate situation figuring out a way to provide for her family. With Joe Giudice unemployed and broke , and Teresa making 12 cents an hour in the prison laundry room, obviously something had to be done!
