Lady Gaga dropped her new song, “Perfect Illusion” just last week and it got her fans clamoring for more of the pop sensation. As is the case with most artists, the album reveal comes slightly after the lead single’s release. Gaga has now revealed that her new album will be titled “Joanne.” It will be a nod to her late aunt, Joanne Germanotta , who died of Lupus in 1974, at the age of 19. “She is the woman of my past,” Gaga revealed in an interview with Zayn Lowe on Beats 1. We must admit, this is a fantastic way to honor her aunt. Her family also has an Italian restaurant in New York’s Upper West Side that also serves as a nod to Joanne. It is named Joanne Trattoria. Lady Gaga: “Perfect Illusion” Gaga took to Instagram to reveal the album artwork and release date. The album will drop on October 21, so mark your calendars. She worked very closely with Mark Ronson on the album, so you know its going to be a good one. Has he ever released any bad music? He’s a lyrical genius and pairing up with Gaga can only mean good things for her career. Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney recently called off their relationship and some fans were quick to wonder whether her latest single was about Kinney . It would make a lot of sense, but she was quick to shut these rumors down and made it clear that the song was not a hit out at her ex. She also maintained that they are good friends. Gaga has been super busy recently. She also has a starring role on American Horror Story. The most recent season was shrouded in secrecy as FX did not want to reveal any plot details about the new iteration of the smash hit series. Usually FX reveals months in advance what the theme will be, but they opted to keep quiet this time round. The curiosity factor did not result in increased ratings for the series. Lady Gaga and fiance Taylor Kinney have painted a colorful picture of their sex life – literally. The latest cover of V Magazine features the couple in a post-coital selfie they took after doing the horizontal mambo covered in paint atop a giant canvas. Because why be dull? According to Gaga, who guest edited the issue, it was originally Kinney’s idea. “Since we first met, Taylor’s been drawing and painting all over me,” she wrote in her editor’s letter. “Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas.” Okay, nothing surprises us about Gaga. I mean, the woman wore a meat dress and arrived at the Grammys in a giant egg for crying out loud. But Taylor? We had no idea he was so… artistic. Kinney’s vision was finally realized after Gaga asked him to collaborate on a project with her to raise money and awareness for mental illness. “We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago,” she said, describing their session. “We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people’s hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence.” Okeeeeeeey. I can totally picture Gaga reciting these lines in a French accent while wearing a slinky black dress and smoking a hand-rolled joint out of a cigarette holder. Nevertheless, the singer hopes their sex painting will encourage everyone, even in times of tumult, “to love each other wildly, generously, totally, colorfully, without fear and with compassionate hearts.” “We made a galaxy of endless colors with only brief, black holes of emptiness that are then filled by each other,” she continued. It’s unclear where the couple’s masterpiece of colors and black holes will be displayed, but sales from the $50 V issue will go toward Gaga’s Born This Way foundation.
It’s been six months since Lady Gaga got engaged to Taylor Kinney , and we still don’t exactly when she’ll be tying the knot. Fortunately, the Mother Monster has decided to grace us with a vision of what she might look like on her wedding day: Okay, now that she’s in this classic, Tony Bennett-dueting phase of her career, she’ll probably go with something a bit more traditional (and it bit less see-through), but we would be totally down with Gaga rocking this exact look as she walks down the aisle. Earlier today, Us Weekly released the first photo of Teresa Giudice in prison. It was a shock to see the usually posh Housewife in a military-green jumpsuit, but overall, the response to Teresa’s big house look has been overwhelmingly positive. Even better than the favorable feedback, however, is the huge (and much-needed) payday that the Giudices scored from selling their pics to Us. There were rumors that Teresa had sold the photo for big bucks long before the pic actually made its online debut, and now, Radar Online is reporting that the price tag was slightly lower than expected, but the image still netted a tidy sum for the struggling Giudices. Sources say the pic sold for $75,000, and despite rumors that it was snapped with a smuggled cell phone, it seems the photo was actually okayed by the staff at Danbury Correctional. “It was staged in the prison using a service where inmates can take photos with family each Sunday,” says one insider. “The family desperately needs the money and Teresa had no problem using her family to make a few extra bucks while she’s behind bars. One year ago today, Miley Cyrus’ dog, Floyd, died in horrific fashion. It’s always hard to lose a beloved pet, but it was particularly difficult in Miley’s case, as Floyd was killed by coyotes , and sources close to the singer say that she still blames herself for his death. For weeks after Floyd’s passing, Miley would break down on stage while performing, and friends grew concerned as she sank into a deep depression. 12 months later, Miley is clearly still feeling the pain, but she’s decided to mark the anniversary of Floyd’s death in classic Miley fashion. That’s right, she threw a big, gaudy party and invited all over her closest friends and their pups. “Tomorrow it will have been 1 year since Floyd passed away,” Miley wrote, in a message to her fans on Instagram. “At times I didn’t know how I was going to go out there and perform and smile and pretend I wasn’t hurting. “But with you I didn’t have to. It’s official! After months of rumors that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are engaged , we now know that the couple is indeed planning to get hitched. And the news came from a rather unexpected source… In an interview with Vulture on Wednesday, T-Pain accidentally spilled the beans about Twigbert: “She’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing.” Pressed for further details, Mr. Pain confirmed that Twigs is engaged to “Ol’ Patty,” which is apparently his awesome nickname for Rob. He added, “I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that.” Yeah, probably not, Tity Boi. According to the tabloids, Pattinson and Twigs have been planning a wedding for months, but when it comes from T-Pain, you know it’s legit! Twilight star Peter Facinelli is engaged to his girlfriend Jaimie Alexander, according to reports. The actor proposed earlier this week and she accepted! Jennie Garth’s ex-husband Facinelli popped the question to the Thor actress on Monday at the top of New York’s Empire State Building, his rep confirms. “She knew it was coming but was overwhelmed during the proposal,” a source tells Us of the 31-year-old bride-to-be, who was surprised and yet not.
