Heather M. Prinkey, 36-year-old councilwoman from North Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, , has been arrested for allegedly molesting a girl who was visiting her home. Prinkey has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and endangering the welfare of children, plus misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors and indecent assault. The victim was only 13 years old when the sex assaults began in May 2008 and the abuse lasted until September 2009. Westmoreland County detectives say Prinkey was involved in a sexual affair with one of her daughter's 13-year-old female friends. According to the criminal complaint, Prinkey engaged in sexual intercourse with the girl at her home when the child slept over.
