‘I think it’s ending on a good point,’ the ‘City’ star says about season six, premiering tonight at 10 p.m. on MTV. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Christina Garibaldi Whitney Port Photo: MTV News While Whitney Port has moved on to “The City,” which kicks off its new season Tuesday night (April 27), she got her start interning with LC at Teen Vogue on the first season of “The Hills.” Now that she’s working for Kelly Cutrone in New York, she’s looking at the final season of “The Hills” as a sweet swan song, especially since it will have so many twists and turns. “My reaction to hearing about the last season of ‘The Hills’ was kind of bittersweet,” Port told MTV News. “I mean, at first I feel so far removed from it, where I was like, at first, it didn’t really affect me, and [now] it’s sad. But I think it’s ending on a good point. I think it’s one of those things where it should end where the popularity is still pretty high, and I know it’s sad for me, because once Lauren left, I think the show totally changed.” So would Port consider coming back to bid the show farewell? “There’s been some rumblings of coming back for something,” she hinted. “But I’m not sure if it’s actually going to happen.” Port said she’s totally game to reconnect with her West Coast crew for one last time with the cameras rolling. “I would definitely be open to it,” she said. “It started this whole thing for me.
