Ray Rice: Cut By Baltimore Ravens in Wake of Shocking Elevator Video

This morning, shocking surveillance footage of Ray Rice knocking out Jayna Palmer , his now-wife, inside a hotel elevator was released by TMZ. Ray Rice-Janay Palmer Fight Just hours later, Rice’s now-former NFL employer tweeted, “The Baltimore Ravens terminated the contract of RB Ray Rice this afternoon.” Previous footage showed Rice dragging an unconscious Palmer through the lobby of an Atlantic City hotel and casino in the aftermath of the incident. Rice was originally suspended by the league for a mere two games, resulting in an uproar from many fans unhappy with the apparent wrist slap. Despite the fact that she was clearly out cold, the NFL was apparently not aware of the footage that shows the viscious attack itself until this morning. “We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator,” the league said in a statement. “The video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.” A number of current and former NFL players took to Twitter today to express their disgust with Rice and their belief that he should be removed from professional football. Non-athlete celebrities joined the conversation as well, with Seth Rogen calling Rice a piece of garbage . Apparently this time, the league took notie. There’s no known motivation for the violent outburst, but Ray and Janay have patched things up. The couple married one day after Rice was indicted for assaulting her in March. Mere hours after learning that Kate Middleton is pregnant for the second time , UK oddsmakers are already taking wagers on all things Royal Baby #2. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared their happy news earlier today. They’re expecting their second child early next year, though it’s unclear when. Not unlike Kate’s first pregnancy, her morning sickness is bad enough that she’s sought medical treatment, and likely broke the news earlier than she’d like. Having missed an official commitment today due to her condition, Kate and William revealed their exciting baby news rather than fuel the obligatory rumors. Beyond the fact that Kate Middleton is pregnant, we know few details. That’s not stopping fans from guessing – and betting – on just about all of them. From the child’s sex to his or her prospective name, wagers are pouring in, with bettors believing that young Prince George is getting a little brother. “Baby Brother” is currently edging “Baby Sister” by a close margin (4:5 to even). Taylor Swift Admits to “Bad Blood” with Musical Enemy: Who Is It?!?

As everyone in the free world now knows, Taylor Swift has learned to shake off the haters. All the way to number-one , in fact. But there’s one fellow artist Swift admits she can’t just forget about, so much so that she penned the upcoming song “Bad Blood” about this unnamed individual. “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'” Swift told Rolling Stone. “[Then last year] she did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy!” Whoa! A controversy surrounding Taylor Swift’s personal life that does not involve a guy?!? Tell us more. “It had to do with business,” Swift says. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.” Swift typically gets along well with celebrities. She counts  Selena Gomez , Lorde, Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss, Dianna Agron, Hailee Steinfeld and Sarah Hyland among close friends. And she’s not a stranger to writing about real-life relationships, of course; these subject are just typically ex-boyfriends. “Sometimes the lines in a song are lines you wish you could text-message somebody in real life,” she adds. “I would just be constantly writing all these zingers = like, ‘Burn. That would really get her.’ “And I know people are going to obsess over who it’s about, because they think they have all my relationships mapped out. Carrie Prejean Sued For Stiffing PR Firm

It seems like a year ago that Carrie Prejean found herself in hot water for comments she made regarding her opposition to gay marriage at the Miss USA pageant. That’s because it was a year ago, and what a year it’s been for the hypocrite since, getting engaged to Kyle Boller and stripped of clothes and a Miss California title. As much as we’d like to forget Carrie Prejean even exists, not everyone is willing to. Particularly not the PR firm that would like to get paid for services rendered. One of the tamer Carrie Prejean pictures out there. Prejean hired A. Larry Ross Communications, which billed over $64,000, last year to help with image and public relations consulting after her gay marriage mess. She has yet to pay the bill. Consequently, the PR firm has filed suit against the painful Prejean looking for their money. We’d love to say there’s no way she could talk her way out of this, but this is Carrie Prejean. Consider who you’re dealing with for a moment: She basically tried to argue that God loves fake boobs .
