Teresa Giudice Gets Pre-Prison Support From NeNe Leakes

Teresa Giudice is less than a month away from beginning her 15-month prison sentence, but sources say she’s holding up well and attempting to provide her children with as normal a holiday season as possible. Teresa hasn’t been receiving support from the expected sources (there are reports that Joe Giudice plans to file for divorce after she turns herself in), but she has been drawing strength from less likely sources, such as fellow Bravo vet NeNe Leakes. NeNe is currently starring in Cinderella on Broadway, and Teresa took her four daughters to check out the show last night. NeNe posted the above photo on Instagram with a caption reading, “My girl Teresa Giudice came to Cinderella last nite with her beautiful daughters to support me! I love the girls! They were so fabulous!” “[Teresa] looks so good!” NeNe added. “She’s a super strong woman!” NeNe and Teresa got their starts on Bravo around the same time, and they’ve talked openly about their friendship over the years. Just last month, NeNe stated that she’ll visit Teresa in prison once her sentence begins. In the meantime, sources say NeNe has offered to assist Teresa and her family in any way that she can, both during Teresa’s remaining weeks of freedom, and while she’s doing her time. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar Successfully Help Overturn Anti-Discrimination Law

Back in August, Michelle Duggar helped fight an anti-discrimination bill in her hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas by lending her voice to a robo-calling campaign urging residents to express their displeasure with Ordinance 119. The ordinance was designed to prevent businesses and landlords from discriminating against potential employees and tenants on the basis of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Michelle’s robo-calls stated that the bill would enable “males with past child predator convictions” to “enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls.” In addition to lending their names and celebrity status to the efforts to have the bill overturned, Michelle and Jim Bob donated $10,000 each to politicians who pledged to fight Ordinance 119. Earlier today, the bill was overturned in the Arkansas state senate by a narrow margin of 52-48. The Duggars involvement in fighting the ordinance resulted in an accusations of “LGBTQ fear-mongering,” and a popular petition to have 19 Kids and Counting canceled , due to perceived hate speech. Michelle launched a counter-petition to save the show, but given the Duggars growing popularity, it’s unlikely that TLC ever seriously considered axing what’s slowly become the network’s flagship series. Of course, there’s no way of knowing if the bill would have been overturned without the Duggars’ intervention, but given how close the final vote was, this seems to be yet another indication of the family’s growing political influence. Watch 19 Kids and Counting online to see how it all started for the simple family from Arkansas. SO Many Duggars 1.
