According to TMZ sources, the actor was given the boot from a blackjack table at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tuesday night because he was doing too darn well. The security said, ‘We have to stop you because you’re too good,’ ” an insider adds to People. Afflech was on a romantic getaway with wife Jennifer Gardner and was allegedly caught counting cards, which is not against the law. But it is frowned upon by all casinos. The Oscar winner was not given the boot from the Hard Rock, it should be noted, only the blackjack table. In a statement issued on last night night, the establishment made it clear: “Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time.” Affleck is a well-known card shark. In 2001, he reportedly garnered $800,000 in blackjack winnings (at the Hard Rock no less) by playing three $20,000 blackjack hands at once.
