( via People ) John Legend made Chrissy Teigen’s Christmas a little more extra-ordinary. The R&B crooner proposed to his model girlfriend over the holidays while vacationing in Maldives. The couple has been together since 2007. Teigen, who is of Norweigan and Thai descent, has modeled for Sports Illustrated, Victoria’s Secret and is currently featured in the Ciroc Ultimate Premium featurette with Diddy, and fellow model Jessica White. After allegedly getting into a fight over a piece of candy which resulted in the killing of Brick Squad rapper Slim Dunkin earlier this month, rapper Young Vito (real name Vinson Hardimon) has been arrested after turning himself into the police. He is being held at the Fulton County jail on murder and gun possession charges pending a bond hearing. Vito showed up to Atlanta Police headquarters looking quite different. He cut off his dreadlocks and was clean shaven, and had nothing to say when he went into custody. Slim Dunkin was laid to rest on Friday in a ceremony largely paid for by Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane . Read more at the AJC. Brick Squad-affiliated rapper Slim Dunkin was shot and killed Friday evening as he prepared to record a music video. The shooting happened at a recording studio along Memorial drive in southeast Atlanta. Slim Dunkin (real name Mario Hamilton) was reportedly shot in the chest after he got in an argument with another individual who pulled a gun. Slim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The shooter remains at large as police continue their investigation.
