WELP: Man Arrested At Airport For Wearing 10 Layers Of Clothes To Avoid Luggage Fees

Getty Images Ryan Hawaii Goes Viral For Wearing 10 Layers Of Clothes At Airport A British man recently went viral after he decided to avoid baggage fees in a creative way. Ryan Williams a.k.a. “Ryan Hawaii” was held at Iceland Keflavik airport because he decided to wear every article of clothing he couldn’t fit in his checked bag. The clothing turned out to be eight pairs of pants and 10 shirts. According to The Daily Mail , Williams was reportedly trying to avoid additional baggage fees and at first, claimed that British Airlines was racial profiling him by not letting him board. @British_Airways hi being held at Iceland Keflavik airport because I had no baggage put all the clothes on and they still won't let me on. Racial profiling? Or….. pic.twitter.com/NKgpe1cPFP — Ryan Hawaii (@RYAN_HAWAII) January 10, 2018 He then alleged that he was unfairly arrested and maced by police. After being escorted from the airport, Hawaii returned two days later to try out the layered clothing tactic with another airline; Easy Jet. That apparently also failed miserably. And AGAIN! Refused from 2 flights in 2 days for no valid reason @easyJet @British_Airways thanks guys wonderful service pic.twitter.com/Ivoc0WZvXl — Ryan Hawaii (@RYAN_HAWAII) January 11, 2018 Hawaii has since clarified that he didn’t pile on his clothes to be funny, but because he was temporarily homeless and couldn’t afford the fee. To everyone reporting on my airport experience in Iceland. PLEASE STOP SAYING I was EVADING excess baggage fees….I couldn't AFFORD the fee (£90) as a result of being left homeless in Iceland for over a week. Paints a VERY different picture. Thankful that anyone cares tho. — Ryan Hawaii (@RYAN_HAWAII) January 16, 2018 Well damn. Both British Airways and EasyJet refunded Hawaii after the debacle and he was sent home on Norwegian Airlines. True Or False: Was Actor Brandon T. Jackson Kicked Off US Airways Plane After Being Called The N-Word By Flight Attendant?

Was Brandon T. Jackson subjected to racist treatment or was the US Airways flight attendant just doing her job? According to TMZ reports : “Tropic Thunder” star Brandon T. Jackson claims he was escorted off an airplane and questioned by police after flipping out on a flight attendant who called him the n-word. Jackson — who also plays Grover in the “Percy Jackson” movies — says he was on a US Airways flight when a flight attendant named Dee approached him and asked him to sit down. The two argued — and Jackson claims the flight attendant said, “I don”t care if you’re Obama’s son — get in your seat!!” Jackson says the flight attendant also called him the n-word. Jackson says he was later escorted off the plane — and questioned by police in Phoenix. Eventually, he was released and tweeted, “This was the most racist thing that ever happen to me even the white people on the plane was like that racist.” 10:14 AM PT — A rep for the Phoenix Police Dept. tells TMZ … cops received a call from the airline around 7:30 PM reporting a disruptive and belligerent passenger who had been cut off from alcohol. We’re told … when police arrived, officers spoke with Brandon and determined no crime had been committed. Brandon, who was supposed to catch a connecting flight to Burbank, was escorted out of the terminal and not allowed to fly on US Airways that night. Cops say Brandon was cooperative with police. SMH. Damn shame, even Hollywood stars aren’t safe from racism. Meanwhile US Airways is denying Jackson’s claims and trying to paint him as a drunk : “Tropic Thunder” star Brandon T. Jackson was an obnoxious, drunken a-hole during a flight Monday … and that’s why he was booted from his plane, so says US Airways. A rep for the airline tells TMZ … crew members adamantly deny using the N-word during an inflight altercation with the actor, despite the actor’s allegations. As we previously reported, Brandon went on a Twitter rant last night — claiming a flight attendant hurled racially-charged epithets at him for no reason … but now, the airline is calling BS. The rep explains, “The disruptive behavior started with loud music being played by Mr. Jackson at his seat. He was asked several times to turn down the music. Additional erratic behavior was observed and that is when the crew made the decision to stop serving [alcohol to Brandon].” US Airways says it stands behind the crew — claiming they handled the situation appropriately. When Jackson’s flight landed in Phoenix (where he was supposed to catch a connecting flight to Burbank) he was escorted off the plane and interviewed by Phoenix PD. Cops determined no crime was committed and he was allowed to leave — but US Airways banned him from getting on the plane to BUR. So far, no word back from Brandon T. Jackson. SMH. We have flown a lot of airlines in our time and have to say that US Airways is not among our faves. We’re definitely more inclined to believe Jackson than them… But what do you believe? Hit the flip to see his tweets.

Kim Kardashian Laments Removal of Luggage Items, Loss of TSA "Trust"

Look, TSA, we know that terrorists flew planes into the Twin Towers in 2001, and that security has been understandably tight ever since… but come on. Can’t an exception be made for Kim Kardashian?!? That’s basically what the reality star wondered over the weekend, as she touched down in Los Angeles – following a PDA-filled trip to Cannes with Kanye West – and lamented the loss of a few luggage items. “Very disappointed in British Airways for opening my luggage and taking some special items of mine! Some things are sentimental and not replaceable,” Kardashian Tweeted Saturday. “What happened to the days when you could lock your bags! We need to get back to that. There’s no sense of security and no trust! Shame on you.” Poor Kim. Allow us to offer a couple responses to her questions at least: 9/11 happened to the days when you could lock your bags. Consider this a lesson learned: next time, travel with a three-ounce bottle of lubricant.

Why Should Planes Stay Grounded In Europe?

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) told that the commercial European flights are going to be severely interrupted provided that some levels of ash are still detectable in the air. In spite of the increasing pressure from air travel groups like the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other major airlines like British Airways, the UK Civil Aviation Authority reported that all current jet engine manufacturers has specified zero levels of atmospheric ash for safe travel. It is very important that they need evidence to prove that it is safe to fly, because they already have evidence that ash adversely affects aircrafts. The International Civil Aviation Organization has set guidelines which the CAA and all European states follow ICAO rules. The ICAO released a statement from the data they have collected that since the volcanic ash is composed of very abrasive silica materials, it can damage the airframe and flight surfaces, block different systems, chafe cockpit window and even burn-out jet engines that will cause serious safety hazard.
