Lady Antebellum had a bit of a scare when their tour bus caught fire en route to Dallas today. Lead singer Hillary Scott was on board with her husband, Chris Tyrrell, and her tour manager. The bus burst into flames while on Interstate 30. Scott’s band mates, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, were not on board. No one was harmed in the fire. After getting out of the tour bus to safety, Scott posted an image of the scorched bus on Instagram and Twitter saying, “Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today.” “Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. Everyone is safe and sound.” “It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!!” According to the local station NBC DFW, the Garland Fire Department Captain, Billy Craven, said the driver’s quick thinking saved everyone : “As soon as he realized what he had a fire, he didn’t hesitate to get everyone off and then call 911.” Scott, 29, was on her way to the American Country Music Awards happening on Sunday, April 19. Lady Antebellum is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year. View Slideshow: Academy of Country Music Awards Fashion: Who Looks Best?
