Copenhagen protest turns violent, hundreds arrested

COPENHAGEN, December 12th–Anarchists launched cobblestones, explosives and homemade weapons during an an otherwise peaceful protest at the United Nations Climate Summit in Copenhagen. The crowd, a reported 50,000 including young children, moved without violence until an unidentified anarchist group of several hundred–most covering their faces with ski masks and hoods–began to converge, shooting explosives at nearby buildings and police
