A Nevada loner left $7.4 million to a long-lost cousin who was his sole heir, according to reports … and weirder still, the money was all in gold coins. Walter Samaszko Jr., who neighbors described as a loner, passed away this summer, and medical examiners were shocked to find a small fortune. In ammunition boxes, he amassed $7.4 million in gold coins. The man had no close relatives, and the courts struggled to find his heir. Thanks to an old funeral document from the 1960s, they were able to locate a cousin in San Francisco. Arlene Magdanz had not spoken to Samaszko in more than a year, but is now the sole inheritor of his millions … which she may want to put in a bank. Just a thought.

Funeral Scheduled for Casey Johnson

Casey Johnson will be laid to rest later this week. The family of the late 30-year old heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, who passed away over the weekend, has scheduled a private service to be attended by close relatives and loved ones. “The Johnson family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed condolences and support during this trying time,” said family spokesman Jesse Derris.
