Young Buck Facing 18 Months In Prison

Onetime G-Unit rapper reached a plea deal with Nashville prosecutors on gun charges dating back to 2010. By Rob Markman Young Buck Photo: Arnold Turner/ WireImage Young Buck started his rap career with a ton of promise, but his legal problems thwarted that potential and his woes continue to mount. According to reports, the former G-Unit MC is looking at an 18-month prison stint for gun possession. The Tennessee rap star has agreed to a plea deal with Nashville prosecutors that will land him behind bars for a year and half, TMZ reported on Tuesday (May 22). A judge signed off on the plea, but Buck won’t be sentenced formally until July 13. “I got to go to the penitentiary in two months,” Buck said in a personal video posted online over the weekend. “F— with me for real, hold me down — and when I get out of the penitentiary, all you rap n—as better get the f— out the way. I ain’t even gonna say no names, but it’s a good thing I’m about to go to the penitentiary.” After an IRS raid on Buck’s Nashville home in 2010, authorities found a .40 caliber Glock 22 as well as ammunition. The raid followed reports that the rapper had an outstanding $300,000 tax debt, and because he’s a convicted felon, Buck is prohibited from possessing any firearms. Back in 2005, he pleaded no contest to assault with a chance to produce bodily injury after he stabbed a man while trying to defend Dr. Dre at the 2004 Vibe Awards . Buck rose to fame as a member of 50 Cent’s G-Unit crew. In 2004, his debut, Straight Outta Cashville, went platinum; he followed that up with 2007’s sophomore effort, Buck the World. But by ’08, Young Buck had gotten himself kicked out of the group after tension between him and label boss 50. The MC has been releasing mixtape material on and off ever since, including The Rehab, an independent street album. Related Artists Young Buck

T.I. Getting Smarter in Prison

T.I. may be a convicted felon who blew a second chance with a probation-violating arrest that nixed his early release, but the man is nothing if not inspirational. He’s effing tired of jail , but it sounds like he’s hanging in there. The release of his new album, No Mercy , which he finished before his 11-month sentence , helps. “So here it is. NO MERCY, the most honest and intimate installment of my life story as promised,” T.I. posted on his official site, which he somehow can update. Says the embattled rapper: “Hope ya’ll enjoy it and it lives up to the very high standards I’ve set for myself or anyone who’s considered to be one of the best.” Humble as always. The self-adulation continues: “I must admit it takes a lot to go through as much as I have and still keep the love in your heart and in your art. But at the end of the day, if that’s what it takes to produce the music to keep the world of hip-hop evolving on its axis.” “Even the lowest of the lows of my life was all worth it.” “Thanks again for your prayers, your time, and attention. And remember… it doesn’t matter how long it’ll be before the next time you see me. What matters is I’ll be a better man before that time comes. The longer I sit, the smarter I get .” “I’d like to give a very special thank you to the fans who’ve been writing me and lifting my spirits. I read all of them. I would never be able to write you all back, but I’d like to list as many of you individually as I can and thank the others collectively.” T.I. ends noting he does not consider himself “done” and is staying positive. He wants to be a “father to his kids,” a “husband to his wife” and “son to his mother.” Before his Nov. 1 surrender, T.I. not only completed the album, but he also shot a music video featuring Chris Brown for the album’s second single, “Get Back Up.” Sounds like his mantra for life – and what he told that suicidal guy.

Should a grandmother’s home be taken over a positive test for marijuana? – Lexington courts | Examiner.com

Marc Anthony Laquinn Buchanan, 27, was arrested Wednesday after testing positive for marijuana use, according to court records. Buchanan was out on bond after being arrested in 2009. Buchanan's grandmother had posted the $50,000 property bond. Buchanan is awaiting trial on charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault, fleeing and evading police, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. These charges stem from an incident where Buchanan is accused of shooting and causing “serious physical injury” to Officer Nicholas Whitcomb during a footchase. The Commonwealth Attorney's Office wants Judge Ishmael to revoke his bond. This would most likely lead to the loss of Buchanan's grandmother's home. Judge Ishmael has refused to do this and, I believe, rightly so. Mr. Buchanan stands accused but is presumed innocent until proven guilty. I don't know all of the details of the case, however, bonds are set to make sure the accused show up for their court date. I believe the bond was appropriate and efficient. The comments left after the article posted on Kentucky.com tend to disagree. http://www.kentucky.com/2010/09/23/1447397/lexington-man-charged-in-officers.htm… The issue at hand is the positive test for marijuana. Should a grandmother's home be taken because Buchanan tested positive for marijuana while awaiting pre-trial? More information at the link above: added by: Monkey_Films

Jesse James: Janine Lindemulder is Unstable

He may be America’s Most Hated, but Jesse James says his ex-wife Janine Lindemulder is a hard core druggie who shouldn’t be left alone with their child. In short, he’s an immoral, cheating mess – but she’s flat out dangerous! She’s also a convicted felon, which he didn’t even mention in his recent bid to keep their daughter protected from her , but it probably won’t help her case. Jesse believes Janine is so unstable that he’s refusing to allow daughter Sunny to spend time alone with her mom, in spite of a court order to the contrary. The embattled bike entrepreneur’s attorney is going to court Friday morning, armed with evidence that his second ex-wife cannot be trusted unmonitored. Janine and Sandra are both peeved at Jesse … for different reasons . The judge in the custody battle issued an order last week, allowing Janine, a porn star straight out of a halfway house, the right to unmonitored visitation. James, who has full custody rights for the time being, granted her access to Sunny recently, but apparently soured on the prospect of unsupervised time. Reports say Janine was actually supposed to see Sunny yesterday but Jesse refused to hand over the 6-year-old girl because he felt she would be at risk. We’ll see what the judge decides this time around. As if drama with Sandra Bullock weren’t enjoy for Jesse these days … poor guy. Well, partially. He deserves all the blame for cheating on Sandra. Jerk!
