Sister Wives is a quality reality show, full of relationship drama, family drama … just all the drama, really. And the vast, vast majority of that is because of the family's beliefs: namely the belief that polygamy is the way to be. Kody Brown has four wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn — and he has children with each of those wives. He's legally married to Robyn , but he calls the other three his “spiritual wives.” And in Utah, where the family is originally from, that's against the law. That's why all those crazy Browns packed up and moved to Las Vegas a few years ago. If they didn't, they risked being arrested, simply because of the way they choose to live. But this weekend, they went back to Utah. And they went for a fight. See, bigamy has always been illegal, but there's a bill in Utah that makes it illegal not only to have multiple legal wives , but to have multiple spiritual wives. On one hand, it makes sense. Many women and children have been abused and mistreated in polygamist families. But on the other hand, there are families like the Browns. They may be strange, but they're all consenting adults who've made a choice to live a certain way, and should that really be a felony. Florida Convicts Trash Stranger’s Home With “Jail Release Party” Nothing says “I’m so happy to be free from jail” quite like immediately doing something that will land you right back behind bars. Via NYDN : A recently released Florida felon broke into a stranger’s house and held wild parties to celebrate his freedom. Kit Thompson was shocked when he found two men sleeping in his bed in his Lakeland home who were holding a ‘jail release’ party. Jaquel Fleming, 18, and pal Keilow Roundtree, 23, partied for five days in Thompson’s home when he was out of town, according to ABC Action News. When they were questioned, the pair admitted they broke into the house to “party and smoke weed in celebration of Fleming’s recent release from jail.” Thompson said he walked out of the house and called 911 when he discovered the pair asleep in his bed Wednesday morning. When Polk County deputies arrived, the duo tried to flee by jumping out of a bedroom before being arrested, ABC reports. Once Thompson finally got back inside, he was shocked by the estimated $4,000 worth of damage the pair had caused. SMH. These two must LOVE jail…
Woman Attempts To Consume Crack In Front Of Drug Officers Drugs are bad, m’kay ? Via MailOnline : A woman who was wanted for theft tried to eat and swallow crack cocaine while being arrested by officers. Linda Blank, 48, was stopped by detectives on Cleveland Street near Dewey Avenue in Douglas, Georgia. Following her arrest she provided a striking mug shot, in which she looks somewhat dazed and confused. After stopping her on the street, officers discovered that Blank was wanted for probation violation and for theft – and they started to arrest her. She then tried to swallow a small amount of crack cocaine while she was being apprehended. An arrest warrant states that officers were able to stop Blank from swallowing the drugs and took them from her, according to WALB. She has been charged with possession of cocaine. SMH! That mugshot is priceless , though.
