Nicki Minaj Says She Gets Comparisons Male Artists Wouldn’t Nicki had some isht to get off her chest on Wednesday night. We aren’t sure what triggered it necessarily, but it sounds like she’s sick and damn tired of not being treated equally as an industry peer with her male counterparts. Apparently, Nicki says that while collabs come naturally between the men in the industry, and artists reach out to work with Drake, J. Cole. and Kendrick based on their undeniable talent. Meanwhile, they need a “push,” presumably from their labels, to work with Nicki. In any field, women must work TWICE as hard to even get HALF the respect her male counterparts get. When does this stop? — NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) October 25, 2017 The greats collaborated w/Drake, Kendrick & Jcole b/c they’re dope MC’s. They collab’d w/nicki cuz someone pulled a gun to their heads…
Those ladies from Teen Mom sure are fertile, right? They all got pregnant when they were just 16 years old, and this past year, several of them have had additional children. Heck, we’re barely into this year and both Jenelle Evans and Chelsea Houska have already welcomed new babies, and on top of that, Kailyn Lowry has been widely rumored to be pregnant right now . It takes a lot of effort to keep up with all the comings and goings of these girls’ uteruses, doesn’t it? Well, it might just be time to get ready to add one more addition on the ever-growing list of Teen Mom babies, because as rumor has it, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are planning for their third child! But hey, before you get your hopes up too high, you should know that while they are planning on having another kid, it’s going to be a ways in the future. Catelynn shared this funny meme on her Instagram page: As you can see, it shows an image from one of those classic commercials featuring old people falling all over the place, along with the text “When people ask me when I’m having another baby.” In her caption, she added “For real tho,” along with a laughing emoji. She also threw in the hashtags “someday” and “not yet.” And that’s fair — obviously, right? It’s her body and her family. Catelynn turns 25 next month, too, so girl has got plenty of time to expand her family. She’s even elaborated on her family plans before — a year ago, she stated in an interview that she wanted to have at least one more child, but maybe she’d be up for two. “If the next one is a boy, I’m done,” she explained. “If it’s not, then we’ll probably try for a third but I’m done after that.” Tyler has made no secret that he’s desperate to have a son, but after their first child, Carly, who they placed for adoption, and two-year-old Nova , it seems like these two have a habit of making girl babies. But while we’re on the subject of Catelynn and pregnancy and the possibility of more children coming soon, it feels important to note that it’s probably a good thing she’s not pregnant right now. After giving birth to Nova, Catelynn had a terrible struggle with postpartum depression. It was so bad that she felt the need to head to a rehab facility to get a grip on her illness. She came home from her treatment center, and while she seemed to be doing better, she obviously still had issues with her mental health. Issues that she tried to medicate with marijuana . All that happened less than a year ago, so it seems like it would be risky to dive back into all those hormones so soon, you know? But no matter what’s going on in that womb of Catelynn’s, we wish her and her family the absolute best. View Slideshow: Teen Mom & Teen Mom 2: The Complete Babies and Children Guide!
2017 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet for Jenelle Evans! Well, if you don’t add misdemeanors and various drug charges up in your tally of what makes a year “big.” Yes, we’re just a few short weeks into this year, and Jenelle’s already had a baby — her third child, the undeniably adorable Ensley Jolie. She’s all set to move into her huge, beautiful house soon. And, as of today, she’s engaged to boyfriend David Eason! She shared this sweet photo, which we presume was taken just after David proposed: You’ve got the happy couple, a dozen red roses, and, of course, the main attraction: what looks to be a pretty sizeable pear-shaped diamond ring on that very important finger. Yeah, it looks like David did good. In the caption, Jenelle wrote “We’ve decided on forever!”, along with a couple of relevant emojis and the hashtag “perfect timing.” Two weeks after they had a baby together and several months after they bought a large chunk of land and began building a house together is “perfect timing”? OK, Jenelle. Whatever you say. As always, people seem to be pretty torn about this latest development in Jenelle’s life. The comments on this photo are filled with congratulations and well wishes, but a lot of people are being a little more harsh. Or a little more realistic, how ever you want to put it. “Did he buy that ring with your money hahahaha,” someone asked, just for example. “How many times has she ‘decided on forever’ lol this is like six times,” another pointed out. And while that first thing is kind of catty — Jenelle makes hundreds of thousands of dollars on Teen Mom 2, so if she knew they were getting engaged and she wanted to drop more money on a fancier ring, that’s her decision. But that second point is a little harder to ignore. Jenelle was engaged to Andrew Lewis, the guy who fathered Jace, then she was engaged to boyfriend Gary Head, the guy who eventually got arrested for knocking her around. After that, she got engaged and later married Courtland Rogers . Shortly after their wedding, the relationship went all to hell and they got divorced. And then, after that, she got engaged to Nathan Griffith , father of her second son, Kaiser. And — surprise! — that relationship didn’t end well either. So this is at least the fourth engagement for this girl. It makes sense for us to be concerned it’s not going to end well. And even besides all that, David has his own problems. His ex placed a restraining order on him after he threatened to kill her, he insults Jenelle’s sons. It just doesn’t seem like the greatest situation. But hey, maybe Jenelle and David have really grown as people, maybe this engagement will actually stick. We sure hope that’s the case. Sister Wives is a quality reality show, full of relationship drama, family drama … just all the drama, really. And the vast, vast majority of that is because of the family's beliefs: namely the belief that polygamy is the way to be. Kody Brown has four wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn — and he has children with each of those wives. He's legally married to Robyn , but he calls the other three his “spiritual wives.” And in Utah, where the family is originally from, that's against the law. That's why all those crazy Browns packed up and moved to Las Vegas a few years ago. If they didn't, they risked being arrested, simply because of the way they choose to live. But this weekend, they went back to Utah. And they went for a fight. See, bigamy has always been illegal, but there's a bill in Utah that makes it illegal not only to have multiple legal wives , but to have multiple spiritual wives. On one hand, it makes sense. Many women and children have been abused and mistreated in polygamist families. But on the other hand, there are families like the Browns. They may be strange, but they're all consenting adults who've made a choice to live a certain way, and should that really be a felony. A local news station in Utah caught Kody at the march, and he was able to outline his issue with the bill. Check out Kody do his thing in the video below:
A lot of assumptions have been made about Aaron Taylor-Johnson. He became tabloid fodder at the age of 19 simply because of his engagement to noted filmmaker Sam Taylor-Wood. This wasn’t in the career playbook for an actor on the rise thanks to diverse works like Nowhere Boy and Kick-Ass. During his podcast debut on… Read more »
I have often heard people in the fashion industry say that once a woman reaches a certain age certain types of clothing are off-limits. Honestly, I find it a little hard to believe that someone shouldn’t wear something simply because they are “old.” Come on, Sharon Stone looks great in leather pants so, why the hell shouldn’t she wear them. … read more
According to a new report, the Bruce Jenner sex change is full speed ahead… … much to the chagrin of nearly all of this reality star’s family members. View Slideshow: Bruce Jenner Tabloid Covers “Besides Khloe, the Kardashians were not on board with his [male-to-female] transition,” an insider tells Us Weekly of stepchildren Kourtney Kim, Rob, Khloe and Kim Kardashian . The source adds that Bruce’s sons, Brody and Brandon, have “stuck by him from day one,” but Jenner “feels like Kris and her girls only support him publicly to make themselves look good.” Shocking, right? That the Kardashians might only do something for the sake of publicity? Neither Kim nor anyone in her famous family has said much at all about Jenner’s major life change, but previous reports had claimed that was so the big reveal could take place on air. But might they be keeping quiet simply because they do not approve? Bruce believes so, which is why a second source tells Us Weekly that Jenner is constantly buying “his girls gifts all of a sudden,” almost as if he’s attempting to purchase their affection. Meanwhile, Brandon Jenner (Bruce’s son with ex-wife Linda Thompson) sat down with Diane Sawyer for her upcoming Bruce Jenner interview on ABC… while neither Kendall nor Kylie Jenner filmed segments. The 20/20 special is scheduled to air April 24 at 9/8c.
That’s one thugged out dessert lover. Tennessee Man Punches McDonald’s Employee Over Hot Fudge Sundae A Tennessee man who lost his cool after a McDonald’s employee handed him a sundae with the hot fudge on the bottom was convicted of assault and could spend up to a year behind bars. The incident in question occurred in February 2010, when Knoxville resident James Davis Wilson ordered a sundae, expecting the hot fudge to be poured on top. “The food appeared to be right, but the dessert, it had chocolate on the bottom,” Wilson told a jury of his peers at the Knox County Criminal Court earlier this week. “The hot fudge should be on top. It freezes up when you get fudge on the bottom of it. I asked them to redo it.” The store’s assistant manager, Brad Skelton, refused, saying Wilson was looking to pay the price of a plain sundae, which costs ten cents less. An altercation ensued, which ultimately resulted in Wilson punching Skelton in the face. Wilson claimed Skelton used a racial slur and tried to rush him as he headed for the exit. The jury didn’t buy Wilson’s self-defense argument and found him guilty of misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct. He was fined $1,050 and now faces the possibility of spending 364 days in jail. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for September 27th. The judge should give him a year just so he has to go in an tell people this stupid fawking story when they ask him: “What you in for?” Image via Flickr Source
White folks need not apply Two high school choruses will not be performing with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) this year because they’re not “ racially-diverse enough”… Apparently, it’s more important that you look like you just came from the set of “Glee” than it is to, you know, have actual talent. “This year, the schools were informed by symphony officials that their choruses are not diverse enough, and that the symphony would be inviting a third, more diverse chorus [emphasis added],” said Cobb County Schools spokesman Jay Dillon. Unsurprisingly, some Marietta, Ga., residents believe the symphony’s decision to turn away both Walton and Lassiter High School is discriminatory. “I think it’s sad,” one resident, Shar Nicholson, told WSBTV.com. “I think if they have the talent and the desire they should be given the opportunity.” Atlanta Symphony Orchestra President Stanley Romanstein argues that it’s one of the goals of the organization to “reflect the diversity of Atlanta,” adding that he is surprised at the outcry. “It’s an interesting misunderstanding,” he said. What if the best available singers are from only one ethnic group? Doesn’t excluding some of them for less talented singers from another ethnic group, simply because of their ethnicity constitutes discrimination? What do you guys think? Source
