Not even two days after Josiah Duggar and girlfriend Marjorie Jackson announced the end of their courtship, it’s like she never even existed. On the family’s social media pages, that is. That’s what the Duggars do, after all. No one announces the end of a courtship , because the process is practically seen as a pre-engagement; there is no casual dating around. The family wrote of the breakup: “Both are thankful for the time getting to know each other, and their families continue to enjoy each other’s company and close friendship.” Soon after, Josiah wiped all traces of Marjorie from Instagram; Duggar had actually not shared a photo of the Christian blogger since May. The reason and exact timeline for the split have not been divulged, and likely never will be, but it’s hard to imagine Josh wasn’t involved. News that Josh Duggar molested his sisters as a teenager broke not long after Josiah and Marjorie began officially courting each other. In a response to outrage from fans and critics, TLC officially nixed the family’s long-running reality show, 19 Kids And Counting , in July. Perhaps Jackson or her family officially nixed this romance as a result? We’re just throwing that theory out there, but it does have merit.
