But … apparently, the most unknown tool to help fix a few appliances happens to be a pack of Ramen Noodles. No, we’re not kidding. A recent video has gone viral showing one man’s rather innovative way to fix a shattered ceramic sink using an uncooked block of noodles. The crazy part? Instead of “Land of the free and home of the brave”, America’s motto should be “find a way, or make one.” Aspiring fashion designer and prison inmate Shod is the perfect of making a way out of no way after he debuted his brand new clothing line while behind bars. Shod went viral this week after video of him modeling his “The Trenches” clothing line made its rounds on the Internet. He took the material from a prison mat and fused it with his inmate attire to create the fashionable uniforms. The Atlanta native says he uses dental floss and a paperclip to sew his clothes. Shod told The Shade Room : “I want people to know my story because location doesn’t determine destination. I want to inspire others to make something out of nothing and reach their full potential without making excuses. I wanted to actually design and make clothes to sell…I want to inspire others to elevate their hustle. I want to make a name for myself as a fashion designer in the fashion community. I also want to start a non-profit organization for low-income communities in Atlanta and eventually expand nationwide.” Shod was arrested back in 2016 on robbery charges, but is set to be released in October of this year. Even though he’s gained some notoriety with his inmate fashions, Shod doesn’t want to just use his talents and recent internet fame to rake in money; he also wants to help steer children in the right direction. That’s what’s up.

According to TMZ , the mother of four revealed to VOGUE that she’s made the decision to become a full-blown attorney just like her daddy, Robert Kardashian. We’re not talking about a purchased law degree here, Kim says that she will work as an intern at a San Francisco law firm for the next four years and take the bar exam in 2022. “I had to think long and hard about this,” she says, gleefully devouring chile con queso with chips now that her Vogue shoot is over. What inspired her to embark on something so overwhelmingly difficult and time-consuming—even as she also runs a multimillion-dollar beauty enterprise—was the combination of “seeing a really good result” with Alice Marie Johnson and feeling out of her depth. “The White House called me to advise to help change the system of clemency,” she says, “and I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentenced criminals and a lot of really powerful people and I just sat there, like, Oh, shit. I need to know more. I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case. It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.
