Dario Argento ’s latest foray into horror, Dracula 3D (2012), is bare and bloody on Blu-ray this week, and we all know it wouldn’t be an Argento film without naked Asia . Asia Argento shows off her newly bolstered boobage in the lead role, while Miriam Giovanelli accompanies her with some full frontal. Celebrate the nude roles of the hottest Scream Queens on Halloween. Tiffany Shepis , Jamie Lee Curtis , and Asia Argento have all got great sets of… lungs! Tiffany Shepis hit the scream queen scene as a Tromette, appearing in schlocky horror staples Tromeo and Juliet (1996) and Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV (2000) before making her nude debut in Embrace the Darkness 3 (2000). As the muse of her rocker-turned-director husband Rob Zombie , Sheri Moon has trotted out her terrific T&A for House of 1000 Corpses (2003), The Devil’s Rejects (2005, and The Lords of Salem (2013). Six-foot-two and worth the climb, Julie Strain has stripped down for an amazing 65 nude roles with titles like Tales from the Crapper (2004) and Battle Queen 2020 (2000)! Adrienne Barbeau was once married to director John Carpenter , but we like her better when she’s showing off her bar-boobs for Wes Craven in Swamp Thing (1982). The beauteous Brinke Stevens has shown her tricks and teats in plenty of B-movies, including gratuitous shower greatness in S orority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama (1988), Slumber Party Massacre (1982), and Hybrid (1997). Former Penthouse Pet Michelle Bauer matches Julie Strain tit-for-tit in nude roles, with a spectacular 65 naked titles to her name. We think she is at her most frighteningly foxy in Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988). Whether she’s dancing naked on a grave in The Return of the Living Dead (1985), or smearing lipstick on her hoots in Night of the Demons (1988), Linnea Quigley always leaves us scared stiff! Grizzled Italian horror legend Dario Argento seems unlikely to produce anything as gorgeous as Asia Argento. But his daughter has been thrilling and chilling us since her very first nude role for dear old dad in Trauma (1993). Neve Campbell may not have gotten naked in the wildly popular Scream series, but she delivered a look at her famously inverted nipples in When Will I Be Loved (2004) and I Really Hate My Job (2007). A lot of people think Jamie Lee Curtis got naked for her big break role in Halloween (1978), but it wasn’t until 1983 that we got this scream queen pop open her top in Love Letters (1983) and Trading Places (1983). David Gordon Green ‘s remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror pic Suspiria was once set to star Natalie Portman , re-envisioning Argento’s stylish tale of a young woman who discovers spooky goings-on at her boarding school. Now Green has found his lead in 15-year-old Isabelle Fuhrman , who herself spooked audiences in her 2009 breakout film The Orphan , and most recently nabbed a role as the sadistic tribute Clove in The Hunger Games . But that’s not all! A report out of Cannes reveals that a line-up of European veterans will be joining Fuhrman — or menacing her — in the pic. Argento’s moody classic told the tale of an American ballet student (Jessica Harper) who begins noticing strange happenings at her European ballet school and discovers that it’s run by a coven of witches; Green’s script removes the ballet aspect, but as he told Movieline last year he plans on paying homage to the original with nods to scenes, shots, dialogue and the film’s iconic score by Goblin. For Fuhrman, this is huge; it marks a coveted lead role and a major step in breaking away from being “that girl from The Orphan ,” a film in which she made quite an impression at the age of 12. (She’s currently filming M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth .) According to Screen Daily , Suspiria has Isabelle Huppert, Albert Nobbs ‘ Janet McTeer, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ‘s Michael Nyqvist and Man of Steel ‘s Antje Traue set to play roles in the film. (You can guess that some or all of these folks might be set to play members of the school/coven, though I imagine Udo Kier’s helpful psychologist from the original might also pop up in some form.) Green is directing from his script with co-writer Chris Gebert, with I Am Love director Luca Guadagnino among the producers; filming begins in September. [ Screen Daily , Variety ]
