Lindsay Lohan has been hitting the bottle. Hard. But it’s not what you think. The train wreck is not downing martinis or anything, just drinking fermented tea that contains trace amounts of alcohol. Still! While far from a big deal, Lindsay Lohan’s probation report says she’s been consuming this and lists it as one of many reasons she should be sent to jail. Lindsay admitted to her probation officer that she was drinking Kombucha tea, which has an alcohol content of 0.5 percent or less. Not quite vodka-strength. You’d have to drink 6-7 of those to get the same buzz as one Bud Light would give you, but just the same, officials don’t like her brazen disrespect for rules. The L.A. County Probation Department added it to the list of reasons why the judge should revoke her probation (from a 2007 DUI) and send her to jail. Lindsay even brought Kombucha to an alcohol ed class, which further drew the ire of the powers that be. Earth to Lindsay … suck it up and plea bargain . [Photo: Pacific Coast News]
