The President of the U.S. spoke to 6,000 supporters at an L.A. concert featuring Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Earth Wind & Fire and Jon Bon Jovi. Obama at Fundraiser “Everything we fought so hard for in 2008 is on the line in 2012,” Barack Obama told the Nokia Theater crowd. “And I need your help to finish what we started. I need your help.” “If there’s one thing I know, we’ve come a long way and we’ve come too far to turn back now,” he said, pointing out his recent performance during the 2012 Presidential Debates . Alluding to the fact that Mitt Romney won the first debate, he said of the night’s musicians, “They just perform flawlessly night after night. I can’t always say the same.” A suited up George Clooney also made an appearance on stage to introduce Wonder, and to also make a quick joke about Clint Eastwood’s speech during the RNC. Clooney said that sometimes celebs can hurt candidates more than they can help them. Which is true, but Eastwooding just entertained us to be honest.
