Justin Bieber Raps On Our World Mixtape With Sean Kingston

‘Eenie Meenie’ pal says Biebs’ MCing is ‘nice for someone who doesn’t do it that much.’ By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston Photo: Larry Marano/ Getty Images First they collaborated on “Eenie Meenie,” and then they hit the road together on Justin Bieber’s My World Tour . Now, the pair are set to release a mixtape together — which Kingston teased would feature Biebs’ sweet vocals and some rhymes. “It should be out in, like, three weeks,” Kingston told MTV News. “It’s amazing! It’s the exclusive. Justin Bieber, Sean Kingston, it’s called Our World. It’s amazing.” Kingston even teased a song or two fans will hear on the soon-to-be-released mixtape of covers. “We did [Travie McCoy’s] ‘Billionaire.’ We did [Soulja Boy Tell’em’s] ‘Pretty Boy Swag.’ We did so much stuff. We just took the beat over and made it our own.” In fact, Bieber, who has rapped at times, will be displaying his skills on the mixtape. “Yeah, he’s doing some rapping,” he teased. “[He’s] pretty tight, nice for someone who doesn’t do it that much.” Until the mixtape hits the shelves, Kingston is gearing up to support his pal at the VMAs, where Bieber is performing and up for Best New Artist. And he even has a date in mind. “I think I’m gonna [bring] my mom,” he said. “After the VMAs, I drop her back off, and then it’s time to party.” Speaking of that party known as the VMAs, the night’s host, Chelsea Handler, admitted that Bieber’s music really speaks to her. “He knows so much about romance,” she said. “If you listen to the lyrics of ‘Baby, Baby, Baby,’ or is it just called ‘Baby’? I have to say it three times, ’cause it makes my heart thump. He’s obviously been around the block. I mean, I don’t know why he’s pretending he’s not a sexual deviant, because he is.” The 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday. The party starts with MTV News’ VMA Pre-Show at 8 p.m., followed by the main event at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can go to VMA.MTV.com (or text VMA to 97979 if they are Verizon subscribers) to vote for Best New Artist from now through Sunday. Justin Bieber, Sean Kingston Throw Pool Party For ‘Eenie Meenie’ Video

‘The video is basically about this girl trying to play both of us,’ Kingston explained about new video with Bieber. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber on the set of his and Sean Kingston’s “Eenie Meenie” video Photo: RapUp.com Following this week’s release of the video for his new song “Never Let You Go,” Justin Bieber is already hard at work on his next clip from My World 2.0, “Eenie Meenie,” featuring Sean Kingston. Kingston explained the plot of the video during a set visit with Rap-up.com . “The video is basically about this girl trying to play both of us and at the end … we end up both at the same place at one time, and she’s left with a stupid look on her face,” he explained. The video was shot at a house in the Hollywood Hills, and in it, Bieber is seen at a pool party holding hands, goofing around and dancing with a girl. Kingston, who has confessed to having “Bieber fever,” explains how he came to work with the chart-topping pop star. “I met Justin about two years ago before he was the teenage phenom that he is now,” he said. “I don’t really have that same chemistry with some celebrities. God just made it happen.” So, what kind of advice does Kingston have for his pal? “I tell him stay humble, keep God first and at the end of the day you’re a role model,” he advised. But that doesn’t mean he won’t let Bieber play around with his Ferrari. “He’s Justin Bieber. If he wrecks it, I’m sure a check won’t be a problem,” Kingston joked. ‘The Diary Of Justin Bieber’: Check Out Two More Sneak Peeks!

In new ‘Diary’ clips, Justin Bieber rehearses ‘Eenie Meenie’ with Sean Kingston and does vocal exercises lying on the floor. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: MTV News & Docs While MTV News has been following Justin Bieber all around Manhattan as he promotes his new album, My World 2.0, earlier this year, his life was being documented by a camera crew for a new special about him, airing this weekend. On Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET, fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be the teen idol in MTV’s “The Diary of Justin Bieber.” In one clip from the special, Bieber is lying on his back with his backup singers all around him doing vocal exercises by singing the phrase “I know” over and over again. In another clip, Bieber, his backup singers and Sean Kingston groove and practice their track “Eenie Meenie” before Bieber sings his part all on his own. In other clips from the show, Bieber is seen on a promotional tour for the album performing for various crowds and even playing a little basketball during his downtime. When asked how he finds inspiration for his love songs, he tells a reporter that anyone can find and experience love at any time. “It’s weird when people say, ‘You’re only 15,’ because I know I am only 15, but at the same time I think at any age you can experience love,” he said. “Whether you’re 80 or 5, you’re always gonna … I don’t know. There’s a difference between love and being in love, because you can love someone but not necessarily be in love. So I think I’ve loved girls, but I don’t know — I haven’t been in love before.” Are you excited for Justin’s “Diary”? Let us know in the comments!
