Royal Baby Birth Certificate: Released!

The royal baby is officially on the grid! The brand-new Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge has been registered with a certificate of birth. Princess Charlotte , the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, is fourth in line for the throne after Princes Charles, William and George. Queen Elizabeth II, the reigning monarch, has been on the job for 61 years (!) with her son, grandson and now great-grandson waiting in the wings. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have formally registered the birth of Princess Charlotte,” a rep for Kensington Palace said in a statement. “The Duke of Cambridge signed the birth register at Kensington Palace this afternoon witnessed by a Registrar from Westminster Register Office.” Available to the public, the birth registration gives details on the princess’ entrance to the world, not that any of the details were at all a mystery. This isn’t Barack Obama’s birth certificate we’re talking about here. No conspiracy theories exist regarding the royal babies … that we know of. We should Google that. Her father, 32, signed the form to make it official, using his fall name: His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Duke of Cambridge. That’s a mouthful right there! The Duke’s occupation is listed as Prince of the United Kingdom, while his daughter already claims the position of Princess of the United Kingdom. The Duchess, 33, is registered under her full name of Catherine Elizabeth Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge. No more Middleton! Westminster Council registrar Alison Cathcart, who also registered Prince George’s birth, visited the palace for William and Kate to fill out the form. Now officially fulfilling her occupational duties as princess, baby Charlotte also got one very important visitor Tuesday in Queen Elizabeth II. Kate Middleton: Expecting a Girl? Baby Shower, Pregnancy Details Revealed …

Kate Middleton is expecting a girl, according to the latest rumors swirling about her baby shower, reportedly thrown by her sister Pippa Middleton. Why is that the consensus? Beyond being cute to think about? Because Pippa apparently threw Kate a pink-themed shower! At Kate Middleton ‘s shower were “pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails, and a huge white cake that was filled with pink sponge and strawberry filling.” Of course, this could simply be a rumor that the Duchess is expecting a girl , but some intimate details about the party were also included with it. For example, Prince George’s mouth covered in pink frosting as he smiled and posed for photos with guests. If that’s made up, it’s really specific! Sources claim they are also considering the name Elizabeth Diana Windsor for their daughter, which would be a touching tribute on two fronts. Of course, that rumor would be much easier to invent. In any case, Pippa Middleton is a party planner by trade, and we could see Kate not wanting to have a second shower at all if it were a boy, so … We have no idea honestly.
