Do you know what to-day iisss… Carmelo And LaLa Anthony Celebrate Their 2 Year Wedding Anniversary Reality television star and TV personality LaLa Anthony and her baller-boo hubby Carmelo Anthony celebrated two years of blissful matrimonydom earlier this week with a romantic helicopter ride and some much needed alone time. LaLa took to her blog to publicly express her love for her boo-thang, as well as offer up some advice on how she and Melo plan to continue to keep things on and poppin for the long haul. Carmelo and I just celebrated our two-year wedding anniversary, but this summer it will be nine years that we’ve been together. One thing I get asked all the time is, How do you do it? How do you keep your relationship fresh and fun and going strong after nine years? Well I can’t claim to be an expert, but Melo and I do have a couple tips that have kept our relationship strong over the past decade, and I’m more than happy to share them with you. Number 1 is communication. Communication is key. As long as you’re open and honest with each other, you’ll be able to work through your problems together. Number 2 is don’t overcrowd your significant other. Allow each other to have space and do your own thing, and then the time you spend together will be even more precious. 9 years might seem like a long time, but it’s only the beginning.
