It was on the first day of her job as co-host of Bravo’s upcoming reality show Going Platinum that Jewel received some unexpected, happy news : She’s pregnant! “I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!” the singer remembers. “It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I’d start throwing up on set.” Jewel and Ty Murray are expecting! Now in her second trimester, Jewel and her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray, are finally ready to share their happy news – and fans are happy to hear it. The couple, who wed in the Bahamas in 2008, and who both competed on Dancing With the Stars , had been trying to have a baby for two years. “I’ve always been a workaholic, so I had to learn how to slow down, to take care of myself in a different way,” Jewel says of her struggle to conceive. “I’m trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy,” says the singer, who we wish only the very best, along with her husband!
