The Bachelorette stars Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried have been (publicly) engaged all of a week, and fans still aren’t totally sold on them as a couple. They’re certainly both doing their best to change that. Reports that they were moving in together immediately after the finale were true. They made sure everyone knew about the big move on social media! The future Mrs. Siegfried is now a Seattle resident. She wrote, along with pics of a going-away party: “On the road again! 😉 @ChrisRSiegfried #newchapter #roadtrips #mylove #goodbyeCali #helloSeattle.” “Always hard to say goodbye… but hello to my new chapter with @chrisrsiegfried.” Upon arriving, Desiree Hartsock shared, “Home. Sweet. Home. #Seattle.” It’s not out of the realm of possibility that ABC is pushing the frequent Instagram and Twitter use to keep viewers engaged and convince us they’re in love. Or maybe they just are that much in love and have to share every detail. Even it’s all genuine, some see it as an attempt to prove that he’s no “rebound” or “second choice,” and that there’s nothing about the show that’s fake. Only time will tell, of course, if the “honeymoon” phase wears off, or whether they can adapt to major life changes after such an unusual, whirlwind courtship.
