Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried: Married!!

The Bachelorette star Desiree Hartsock said “I do” to Chris Siegfried in California yesterday, making it official with her final rose recipient from 2013! According to her rep, Desiree Hartsock wed Chris in Palos Verdes, Calif., following an 18-month engagement to the man she picked on the ABC reality hit. They currently live together in Seattle, where Des relocated to be with the former baseball player turned mortgage banker after they got engaged. Chris Tweeted the weekend before last, “So excited for the big day! @DesHartsock and I can’t wait to share with everyone! #countdown #9days #hopingforsun.” Fortunately for a wedding held in Southern California , that’s a pretty safe bet … as is the fact that Desiree would look stunning walking down the aisle. A bridal stylist by trade, “once Chris and I got engaged we started talking about the wedding right away, probably before the finale even aired,” she said. “We talked about what we would want and pieced together both of our ideas,” but in the end, “I’m most excited to walk down the aisle and see Chris.” “And then of course to get down on the dance floor with him!” Desiree and Chris faced many doubters early on after he appeared to be her distant second choice being Brooks Forester for much if not all of her season. Clearly, they proved the critics wrong and then some. Desiree Hartsock & Chris Siegfried: A Bachelorette Romance 1. Desiree Hartsock, Chris Siegfried Photograph The Bachelorette stars Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are officially married! The two tied the knot January 18, 2015. The wedding comes days after The Bachelorette couple from 2014, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray broke up after being engaged for just six months. After yesterday, Desiree officially joins Trista Sutter and Ashley Hebert in the exclusive club of Bachelorette stars to marry their final rose recipients. On The Bachelor side, Sean Lowe and Jason Mesnick recently wed their winners as well, so the franchise has been on a (relative) romantic tear lately. Congratulations, Desiree and Chris!

Desiree Hartsock "Obviously Settled" For Chris Siegfried, Her Brother Nate Says

Desiree Hartsock’s brother Nate is at it again, offering candid assessments of her love life. This time, he says his sis “settled” for fiance Chris Siegfried. Nate Hartsock famously ruffled feathers last year when Desiree appeared on The Bachelor, bluntly taking his sibling and suitor Sean Lowe to task. Now he’s turned his sights on Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried – who he admittedly likes, but was not her first choice by any stretch of the imagination. “Desiree went on the show because she wanted to get married so badly and she wanted the family and to have kids,” Nate told Life & Style magazine. “Obviously Chris wasn’t her first choice. I think it’s obvious she settled for him.” He’s not hating, though. In fact, not only has Nate signed off on this potential future brother-in-law, he thinks a wedding WILL be in their future: “Desiree is at the point where she’s ‘all in’ with Chris, and I think he is just happy he gets to be with her,” he adds, predicting they will wed within a year. “She is happy with him and with how it ended up. I think this will be a short engagement, I could see a wedding happening even quicker than next summer.” Desiree Hartsock, Chris Siegfried ET Interview Viewers expected Desiree to reject both finalists, Chris Siegfried and Drew Kenney, after she was dumped by #1 pick Brooks Forester in epic fashion. But Nate called out Reality Steve and The Bachelorette spoilers on Twitter, and sure enough, she shook it off and accepted Chris’ proposal on the finale. No one saw it coming, including Nate or Des. But that doesn’t mean it won’t last, and if he says there’s a good shot, you know they’re doing well. If they weren’t, well, he’d be the dude who’d tell it to you straight. Desiree has been active on Twitter this week, expressing sadness over the passing of Gia Allemand , but joy at the fact that she moved in with Chris. What do you think: Will Des and Chris make it to the altar?   Yes! They’re together for all the right reasons! No. There’s no chemistry there. View Poll »

Brooks Forester: Happy For Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, Not Regretting Breakup

Brooks Forester says he’s beyond happy for Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried’s engagement, but does not regret flaking out on The Bachelorette when he did. Though some fans were hoping – and The Bachelorette spoilers predicted – Brooks would return in the finale and beg for a second chance, he did not. Brooks, who is single, has no regrets about that, either. “I know I made the right decision,” Forester says. “That was about being honest with Des and myself and that conversation, as difficult as it was and as bad as it hurt. I just don’t know how I can regret being honest.” “I look back and say that was the right decision.” “I never had a moment where I felt like I should go back and hash things out. Were there things I missed about [Des] and was I sad to see our relationship come to a close? Yes.” Brooks Forester adds, “Des deserves to be in love with someone that is equally in love with her. If she was at that point, great, I needed to get there and I just wasn’t.” As for the man who was, Chris Siegfried? The Bachelorette Finale Recap – Desiree Hartsock Engaged “I am excited for them and I wish them the best. As I said last night, it was apparent that Des had those feelings for Chris and I know Chris has those feelings for her.” “I love Chris. I think he is a genuine person and a great guy. Des got what she deserves and I couldn’t be happier for them,” says her one-time top pick. Brooks admits it was hard being portrayed as the “frontrunner” on the reality show, let alone being called as the winner in Bachelorette spoilers columns for months. “The last two months have been difficult,” he says, looking back. “Everyone assumed we were together. I am glad that it is over.” Did Desiree make the right choice?   Yes! Chris totally loves her and she loves him! No. Brooks was the one that got away. View Poll » Will Desiree and Chris last?   Yes! Brooks Forester on The Bachelorette: Will He Return For Season Finale?

There’s never been a season quite like this one, which has left fans clueless, up in arms and clamoring for The Bachelorette spoilers heading into the finale. In part one of the two-part, five-hour season-ender, leading lady Desiree Hartsock was awkwardly, painfully dumped by her first choice, Brooks Forester. Brooks Forester Dumps Desiree Hartsock She has two guys left, but having basically admitted that her feelings for Drew Kenney and Chris Siegfried aren’t on that same level, what will she do now? ABC has not released a single clip beyond Desiree talking to host Chris Harrison to talk about Brooks’ exit. How the heck are they going to fill 2-3 hours? Harrison teases that “There’s nothing typical about this finale.” No kidding. But does Brooks Forester come back or what? “It begins with her and I sitting down and putting the pieces together,” Chris says . “Are you going to give these other guys a chance? Is that even possible?” “The other dynamic is that Chris and Drew have no clue because we separate everybody … we owe it to them to have a conversation and tell them what happened.” So there’s a lot of filler coming. But then there’s this teaser: “And then there’s Brooks. If anybody was ever set to come back and be wishy-washy, it’s him,” Harrison says. “There’s definitely that option.” All season long, The Bachelorette spoilers have hinted at an engagement, despite the recent chatter that she leaves as single as the day she started. Nothing we’ve seen so far, from the “cliffhanger” editing of the show last week to the HOUR-LONG breakup of Brooks and Des, suggests he’s out of the picture. Desiree Hartsock on The Bachelorette Breakup: Blindsided and Heartbroken By Brooks!

While careful not to reveal The Bachelorette spoilers concerning next Monday’s finale, Desiree Hartsock is speaking out about last night’s events. In a shocking twist, Brooks Forester vaguely, awkwardly dumped her in an epic breakup that resulted in endless tears and consumed an hour of TV. Desiree Hartsock, Brooks Forester Breakup (The Bachelorette) Truly, it is the most surprising ending to The Bachelorette we’ve seen, just as the producers promised. Heading into next week, so many questions linger. Is Brooks gone for good? Is Des done for good after this rejection? What about Chris and Drew? Do either stand a chance? And how will they fill two hours? We’ll find out in Monday’s conclusion of this two-part finale. For now, let’s hear what Hartsock had to say about last night : “Antigua was the perfect destination to continue my relationships with the three remaining guys … Each one has such incredible qualities but Brooks stood out.” “My relationship with Brooks was always secure and confident when we were together, but I never knew what was going through his mind when we were apart.” “That should have been a red flag, but sometimes love is blind.” “I never wanted to believe that maybe this experience was more than just hard for Brooks, and that he potentially wasn’t on the same page as me.” “He led me to believe that he was on board and wanted this to work out. I had such strong feelings that I couldn’t imagine not reaching the full potential of a proposal.” “I was surprised watching and seeing the conversations Brooks had with his mother and sister and with Chris Harrison, expressing his doubts and feelings.” “He never expressed those concerns with me until it was too late. I was completely blindsided and heartbroken by his exit.” “When he first greeted me on that beach, I knew that something was wrong and I was shocked to learn exactly how he felt.” “I am relieved now that he was honest about his feelings and that he was brave enough to address them before taking the relationship further.” “I wish Brooks could have felt more comfortable coming to me sooner but it was better that it happened in Antigua and not down the road.” “My dates with Chris and Drew were so wonderful, but Brooks’ departure really threw me for a loop. I seriously considered going home and calling it all quits.” “In a breakup, emotions are high and it takes self-reflection to gain clarity and peace.” “I was heartbroken by Brooks leaving and uncertain of what the future held. But I had two incredible men still there who did love me and I wanted to see this through.” “Could get past this heartbreak to love either one of them as much as they both deserved? And would we ever get the opportunity to explore that?” “I promised myself from the beginning that I was here for love and not just to go through the motions. I had to remind myself that if I wasn’t feeling enough for the guys, I wouldn’t stay.” So, there you go. That brings you up to speed … and yet it doesn’t. The Bachelorette Final Three: Who Will Des Pick?

The Bachelorette final three are set and off to the overnight dates after the somewhat surprising elimination of Zak Waddell on Monday’s episode. So who’s it gonna be? If you’ve read The Bachelorette spoilers at all this season, you know she’s been really into one guy from the onset. Did last night change any of that? Drew Kenney Brooks Forester Chris Siegfried Brooks Forester is the man Des said she was in love with prior to the hometown dates, but Chris Siegfried and Drew Kenney both helped their chances. Enough to pull an upset over Brooks? That’s the million-dollar question. From what we know of Desiree Hartsock , it seems very unlikely that she’ll send all of them home, no matter what the promos might make it look like. We know she envisions Brooks at the end of her journey (take a shot, Bachelorette drinking game players), while the other two are also good choices. Chris and Drew made it known they’re both serious, committed and there the right reasons as well (drink again)! So she’s getting engaged … right? How do you think it’ll play out in the coming weeks? Check the spoilers link above if you want to know, but either way, tell us: who do you want to win? Reality Steve: Bachelorette Prediction Sort of Wrong!

Reality Steve, the soothsayer of bad TV, admitted today that he got some of The Bachelorette spoilers wrong as they pertain to the end of this season. Only five men are left standing heading into next week’s episode. Four will advance to win hometown dates with Desiree Hartsock the following week. That’s where Steve’s usually iron-clad predictions took a hit … WARNING : To all those wanting this fairy tale to remain untainted, turn back now, because the intel below contains The Bachelorette spoilers (obviously). Steve said many weeks ago that the top four guys would be … Brooks Forester Zak Waddell Drew Kenney Chris Siegfried According to Steve’s blog post today, this is still the case. However, he indicated previously that Drew Kenney would be the odd man out after hometowns and before the overnight dates (or final three dates). Now, he’s saying Zak Waddell will instead finish fourth. Put another way, Zak is out after hometowns and Drew is on to overnights. How does all this impact the finale? And does it throw off his other predictions? “What does this mean for the rest of the spoilers? Nothing really,” Steve writes. “Because I was originally wrong with the Zak/Drew elimination, could the ending be wrong?” “Sure. But it’s not. [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] are still the final two guys, and she got engaged to [REDACTED] back on May 8 and they are still engaged to this day.” So who are the final two? And who will win that final rose? Follow the link for the full 2013 Bachelorette spoilers .
