Tom Daley Threatened by Moronic Twitter User, Arrest Made

Perhaps they should just ban Twitter use at the Olympics… First, Greek athlete Voula Papachristou was thrown out of the Games by her native country after posting an inappropriate message about African-Americans. Then, Michel Morganella was given the boot from the Swiss Soccer team after Tweeting that he wants to punch and burn opponents form South Korea. Now, British diver Tom Daley is at the center of a social media scandal, though this time the athlete is the victim. Some complete moron responded to Daley’s fourth-place finish in synchronized diving on Monday by saying the 18-year old let his father down by not earning a spot on the medal stand.

Istana Open House 2010 date time

The Open House incorporates the annual Istana Art Event 2010, which includes the Arts Heritage Village where families can enjoy fun-filled art activities and a specially created art installation. The Istana grounds will be open to the public on Sunday, August 8 from 8am to 6pm, to celebrate National Day. Visitors will also be entertained by performances by the SAF Music and Drama Company, PA Talents and Dance Ensemble, as well as bands from the Swiss Cottage Secondary School and Nan Hua High

Swiss find that gamers commit war crimes

[Study Finds That Most Video Games Don't Follow The Geneva Convention] Two Swiss human rights organizations got together and tested a set of 19 war games, with the goal of looking for ‘virtual’ rights violations and the breaking of the Geneva Convention. Not surprisingly, they found that most war games don’t follow the Geneva Convention.
