New Miss Universe Gabriela Isler Has A Lot To Learn

In case you guys didn’t know, there’s a new Miss Universe these days, and it’s Venezuelan hottie Gabriela Isler . Here she is making one of her first public appearances at the 14th annual Latin Grammys, and while I’m not gonna knock the choice (even though I got left off the judges’ panel once again), I’m a little disappointed in Gabriela and her cleavage cover-up here. I know Miss Universe is pretty strict with their “code of conduct” or whatever, but they just want to avoid public scandals, not showing any skin whatsoever. I’m willing to let it slide though since Gabriela’s new. She’ll get the hang of it soon. Maulik Pancholy Comes Out as Gay

Maulik Pancholy, an actor best known for his role as Jack Donaghy’s assistant on 30 Rock , has come out as gay. Featured in this year’s issue of the Out100, Pancholy tells the magazine that he just enjoyed his nine-year anniversary with his partner and: “It feels like a nice time to be celebrating something like that, especially on the heels of the DOMA and Prop 8 decisions.” Pancholy also voices Baljeet on Phineas and Ferb and recurred over the year as Sanjay on Weeds . He has worked steadily since 2007 and says he always wanted to be an actor. One story in particular stands out as a moment when he became clear what his future held, as Pancholy tells Out he cut himself with a switchblade at a young age. And he responded to the incident in an unusual manner. “Instead of going for help and saying, ‘Hey, I cut my thumb, can I get a Band-Aid?’ I did a death scene in the bathroom. It was my big moment!” he said.

Olivia Culpo Gushes Over Nick Jonas: He’s Very Special

You are a very lucky man, Nick Jonas. During Saturday night’s Miss Universe pageant – prior to placing the tiara on the head of winner Gabriela Isler – 2012 champion Olivia Culpo shared some heartfelt words with the audience. And they were all about a certain handsome young singer. “To the very special person who puts a smile on my face every day, I can’t wait to start this new chapter with you,” Culpo said from the stage at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall. She also included a cute picture of her and Nick hugging backstage and again made Jonas blush with the following caption: “To the person who puts a smile on my face every day”….1 hour until show time 🙂 #missuniverse.” Sheesh. No wonder Nick was happy to split from his brothers . The guy has more important people things to do these days! And for those wondering, the feelings are most definitely mutual. “I got my eyes on you,” Jonas Tweeted himself on Saturday. “You’re everything that I see’ Happy to be in Moscow supporting my girl on her final walk as miss Universe. So proud of you @oliviaculpo.”
