Russell Crowe as Noah: New Character Pics!

Darren Aronofsky is working on his adaptation of the Biblical tale of Noah, with Russell Crowe in the title role. If you’re wondering what that looks like, take a look at the new  Noah character image below: The film follows Noah as he receives a divine message that the end of the world is coming. When he tries to spread the word, however, he is cast off into the wilderness with his family. Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone, and Kevin Durand round out the cast. Noah will premiere March 28, 2014.

Tyler Perry to Battle Self in Spring 2011

It’s not unusual for directors to have two films come out in the same year, but Lionsgate isn’t giving Tyler Perry much breathing room. The studio announced today that they will distribute Madea’s Big Happy Family on April 22 of next year, even though his adaptation of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf is slated for January 14. He hasn’t even shot either one yet. Looks like someone’s overcompensating ! [ Deadline ]
