Lindsay Lohan and company won’t be back for new flick about suburban parents. By Jocelyn Vena Lindsey Lohan on the “Mean Girls” poster Photo: Paramount Pictures Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and Rachel McAdams learned their lessons about putting enemies in their burn book a long time ago. But Hollywood seems to think a different generation should get in on the action. Following the theme of the 2004 comedy co-written by Tina Fey “Mean Girls,” “Mean Moms” is being prepped for the big screen, Variety reports. No names have been attached to star in the project yet, but Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Jill Messick are all in talks to produce the flick for New Line. Much like “Mean Girls,” “Mean Moms” will be based on an advice book by Rosalind Wiseman. Wiseman’s “Queen Bees and Wannabees: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and the New Realities of Girl World” was the basis for the Lindsay Lohan flick about a girl who goes from homeschooling to the dangerous world of high school. The new film will take on the subject of the author’s 2006 book, “Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads: Dealing with the Parents, Teachers, Coaches, and Counselors Who Can Make — or Break — Your Child’s Future.” According to Variety, Dara and Chad Creasey will write the “Mean Moms” screenplay about a “happily married mother of two who moves from small town America to the high class suburbs and is faced with confronting the cut throat world of competitive parenting.” None of the characters from the first flick will appear in the sequel. Scant other details are known about when production will begin or when it may hit theaters. Wiseman’s first novel, “Boys, Girls and Other Hazardous Materials,” which explores bullying among boys as well as girls in the digital age, was published earlier this year.
