August Alsina Reveals Battle With Liver Disease Remember the mysterious “dis-ease” that August Alsina alluded to in a cryptic instagram post? It seems that the crooner is gearing up to let his fans and supporters in on exactly what problems he’s been facing that have had him off the scene for a while. August posted a teaser of a conversation between himself and his good friend Jada Pinkett-Smith , revealing that depression has run in his family for years and has been a struggle of his as well. He also reveals that he’s been fighting some form of liver disease that basically has him feeling ill at all times. He also posted the video to his Instagram account with this message: Sat down with my favorite person on planet earth to have one of the most HEALING conversations.
