Look at Ray J doing good and stuff… This weekend Brandy’s brother hosted an event in Calabasas for the RockLife anti-bullying campaign for kids. Ray J held it down on the basketball court alongside celebrities including Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, Tank, Mario, Laura Govan and more (including his sister Brandy). The event was put together along with former NBA baller Mitch Richmond who is now co-wonder of the Sacramento Kings. Brandy sat out the game with her fiancé Ryan Press right by her side. Rumor has it that there will be no Govans on the upcoming season of “Basketball Wives L.A.” and now we know why. The JasmineBrand caught up with Gloria at her hubby’s Athlete’s vs. Cancer charity event and she revealed she and sis Laura are working a new show: We’re working on a family show – me and my sister, Gilbert, Matt, all of our kids – you know, my sister has got like 18 kids. I [was] just saying “Gosh! You have a lot of kids!” Yeah, it’s really 4. But it feels like 18, because they’re all over the place. So yeah, we’re doing a lot of stuff. We have a lot of stuff that we’re doing together which is really cool. Wait, for a minute there we thought she really did have a sister with 18 kids… You know they ARE half Mexican, right? Takes one to know one, riiiiiiiiight? Draya is receiving support from one of her “Basketball Wives: LA” costars” after enduring the wrath of Twitter during her “106 and Park” appearance this week. During an interview with CocoaFab this week Jackie Christie came to Draya’s defense: “You know, it’s unfortunate and I feel really sorry. Knowing Draya personally, I adore her. People say I bullied her and it was never that. I’ve always looked at her like a little sister. I learn from her just like she learns from me,” she says of her controversial costar. “Draya is a good parent. She really is and it’s unfortunate that stuff that was put on the internet is haunting her now. Draya loves her baby and she’s a great mom. She’s working hard and trying to make a living just like everyone else and I definitely support her.“ Can Jackie really talk though? Only close friends and supporters were invited, including BBWLA’s Laura Govan, rappers Lola Monroe and Lil Mama, Suga Shane Mosley, Frankie Finch, LisaRaye, Bella Mafia, Michelle Epps. The dinner served as the launch of Lil Kim’s new movement with Tiffany Foxx (blonde jawn in the photos). This has to be the only face that makes Lark Voorhies breathe a sigh of relief.
