Things between Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom didn’t get off to a very auspicious start. We first learned that Orly was interested when Katy shot him down at a Golden Globes after-party. Needless to say, it didn’t look very promising, but the heroic Bieber-puncher pressed on, and he’s been rewarded with being permitted to touch Katy’s glorious boobs. Yes, it looks as though Katy and Orlando are actually dating these days. We’re a bit surprised, as she generally goes for a douchier type, but who can resist a dude who took a swing at the Biebs? Anyway, it seems that last night Katy and Orlando joined Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and a handful of other celebs for dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood last night. “Orlando and Katy had that new-relationship glow about them,” one onlooker told Radar Online. “They were cuddling and flirting with each other all night.” The best part? Katy and Jen’s mutual ex, John Mayer, was apparently also in attendance at the trendy hot spot, but he made a point of steering clear of their table. “Perhaps John knew there was a table full of his ex-girlfriends in the restaurant, because he didn’t go into the Tower Bar and instead went directly into the hotel elevator,” says one witness. Maybe he was caught wind of the fact that Orlando has a history of getting violent with D-bags.
