Justin Bieber’s Next Album Is ‘Ridiculous’

Manager Scooter Braun tweets from studio where singer is working on Believe. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: George Pimentel / WireImage With Justin Bieber in full-on album recording mode, his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, has heard just what the teen star is up to and wants everyone to know that Believe is a game-changer for the singer. “Wow!! In the studio with @justinbieber and #Believe is going to be ridiculous!!!” he tweeted about the 17-year-old’s 2012 release. Braun’s message came the same day that Bieber announced that he’s officially working on the project. “Start recording full time for #BELIEVE today. let the fun begin! #newMusic,” he tweeted on Tuesday, hours later adding, “#studio.” But it seems that he’ll take a break to hit up the Consumer Electronics Show, which is currently under way in Las Vegas. “Gonna see what is coming next. #gadgetNERD,” he proclaimed. While Bieber has said that he wants his next release to recall Justin Timberlake’s Future Sex/Love Sounds sonically, in a recent interview with V magazine, he noted that what he’ll be singing is a bit more PG than the topics Timberlake covered on that album. “I’m not going to try to conform to what people want me to be or go out there and start partying, have people see me with alcohol. I want to do it at my own pace,” Bieber says in the issue. “I don’t want to start singing about things like sex, drugs and swearing. I’m into love, and maybe I’ll get more into making love when I’m older. But I want to be someone who is respected by everybody.” Bieber may not want to get too graphic on this album, but vocal producer Kuk Harrell did note to MTV News that he will be maturing on it in his own way. “The only conversation we’ve had about Justin’s album that we’re about to do is it’s really important that it’s the proper transition because we’ve seen him [with] ‘Baby,’ now we’re watching him grow up,” said Harrell, who also worked with the singer on Under the Mistletoe. “And we can’t just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There’s a record in between.” Are you looking forward to Justin’s next album? Tell us on our Facebook page! Elizabeth Banks ‘Gratified’ To Be In ‘Hunger Games’

That film along with ‘Man on a Ledge’ and ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ make the actress One to Watch in 2012. By Kara Warner Elizabeth Banks in “The Hunger Games” Photo: Lionsgate We’ve been big fans of Elizabeth Banks for years. She’s such a scene-stealer and so versatile, with roles ranging from blockbusters (“Spider-Man”) to comedies (“The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Role Models”) to horror/comedies (“Slither”) to hit TV shows (“30 Rock”). The woman can do it all. But the reason she is one of MTV’s Ones to Watch in 2012 is because of upcoming roles in “Man on a Ledge,” the highly anticipated “Hunger Games” (one of the key players in MTV Movies Brawl 2012 ) and the ensemble comedy “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” as well as producing “Pitch Perfect,” a comedy about the world of college a cappella competitions. When we caught up with Banks, we asked for her thoughts on the year ahead. “Obviously, ‘The Hunger Games’ is coming out, and I absolutely love the series. I was a huge, dorky fan long ago; it’s something I’m really gratified to be a part of, the movie. I’m really looking forward to that,” she said. “I’m really looking forward to a real vacation, like a beach with no one around, and hopefully watch movies, because I love movies and I don’t get to see many movies. “I’m Secret-ing some ideas this year,” she added, speaking to the famous self-help book that encourages goal-planning via a “vision board.” “I wrote them out, they’re on my fridge for all to see. I won’t say them here but I definitely have some specific goals. Last year is going to be hard to top. I’m really excited about ‘Pitch Perfect,’ that I produced through Universal that’s coming out and stars all these really amazing young actors [Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Freddie Stroma of ‘Harry Potter’ fame] that I hope will all be Ones to Watch. It’s just a really fun, hilarious, insane movie that I’m really, really proud of.” What are you waiting for? Your must-see movie needs your support. It’s time to show character, poise and heart.
