Tonight on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki will have to decide between Brooks and Baby Troy. Will she run away for a weekend with her lover or will her loyalty to Briana win out? We know what we’re hoping for. And it’s certainly not more screen time for Brooks. Find out who Vicki chooses as we recap tonight’s episode with our THG +/- review! Tamra and Heather kick off tonight’s episode with a glass of wine and a little girl talk. Heather felt that Gretchen and Slade’s behavior at Hot in Cleveland was disrespectful and weird. And it was. Minus 10 . Alexis and Lydia meet for coffee. Except Alexis orders tea and says she’ll “do” a banana. Then Lydia orders “basically” warm milk with a little taste of coffee. Lydia definitely doesn’t need caffeine. When Lydia tells Alexis that she went to Heather’s taping, Alexis is visibly shaken. She doesn’t like it that Lydia is spending so much time with the girls and thinks Alexis should reach out and apologize. Lydia thinks Alexis needs to make “a bold move.” And I think Lydia needs to drop it. Alexis throws out the bullying word and says she doesn’t trust Tamra but needs to let all of this go. Vicki finally admits that Brooks is her boyfriend. Since Briana and Ryan don’t want him in their home, she’s just going to visit him at his house. Which is 5 miles from her house. Which is still too far away for Vicki. Minus 12. Brooks asks Vicki to go away with him for the weekend and she says that she can’t because she’s traveling to San Diego to babysit Troy while Briana and Ryan go to the Marine Ball. Way to choose the grandma duties, Vicki! Plus 8 . She asks to reschedule, but Brooks is actually going to play Dad the following weekend, so that doesn’t work for him. Vicki asks for a raincheck and the following exchange occurs: Vicki: Can I get a raincheck? Brooks: Maybe if you’re nice. Vicki: I’m always nice. Until you piss me off. Brooks: You don’t want to piss me off either. Uh, that sounds like a threat, Vicki. Head for the hills! Minus 34. Tamra’s been asked to speak at the L.A. Women’s Expo, but she’s really nervous about the prospect of speaking in front of so many people. She hires a speech coach to come in and help her write the speech and give her pointers on delivery. During their conversation, Tamra seems vulnerable and emotional and real. It’s a different side of the brash, loud, somewhat crude Tamra we’re used to seeing. Plus 9. Lydia’s stirring something in a pot on the stove, but she’s a self-proclaimed non-domestic. She hasn’t done a load of laundry in their house. Like, ever. Minus 12 . She doesn’t make dinner. She makes reservations. Minus 12 more for good measure. Lydia tells Doug about the conversations she’s had with Puff the Magic Grandma and Doug tells her she needs to lighten up. In different words, of course. Plus 25 . Gretchen and Slade are visiting her doctor to discuss her fertility. Slade’s been snipped, so there’s that issue to work around, too. During her date with the dildo-cam, the doctor declares that Gretchen’s uterus is “nice and lush” and her follicles are “pleasantly plump.” Plus 8? Somehow knowing that much about the inner workings of Gretchen’s girl parts doesn’t feel like a plus, but we’ll run with it. The doctor recommends in vitro fertilization for Gretchen and Slade given his vasectomy and her age. Gretchen envisioned making a baby the old fashioned way. Briana, Ryan, and Vicki are heading to San Diego with Baby Troy. While Ryan and Briana are at the ball, Vicki’s playing Nana. Vicki, the 90s called, they want their “whoop” back. Ryan has a deployment to Afghanistan coming up. He’ll be gone for 11 months. Vicki vows to do whatever Briana needs her to do to help her daughter through it. Plus 7 . Terry’s taking Heather out to dinner to apologize, again, for not supporting her and dropping The D Word into their fight. Good job, Terry. Briana and Ryan leave for the ball and Vicki says she’s more than happy to be watching Baby Troy. Even if she wishes she were with Brooks. Minus 15 . Over drinks, Terry starts apologizing and says that he thinks the reason he acted like a jerk was because he worried about how Heather going back to work would affect his life. Heather’s not buying that as an excuse. After a really serious heart to heart, he passes a card across the table. He’s written a note inside that’s so sweet it makes her cry. And then he cries. And maybe I cried, too. Or it just got really dusty in here all of a sudden. Hooray! The Dubrows are good again! Plus 37. Tamra’s mom comes over to accompany her to the Women’s Expo. Tamra’s speech contains parts that might make her mom uncomfortable, but she’s pushing forward with it anyway. If she doesn’t chicken out. Lydia’s mom comes over to teach Lydia how to (half) bake a lasagna. In her one-on-one, Lydia lays all of her non-domestic tendencies on her mom because she was too busy teaching them how to throw flower petals in the air to teach them how to do practical things. And then she says she didn’t learn those things because she never had to learn those things. Way to tell the truth, Lydia. Plus 2 . Lydia says she could never measure up to being the kind of mom to her boys that her mom was to her. But wouldn’t smoking up be the answer to that? They (half) bake the lasagna and call it a day. Mom gets to smoke her joints and Lydia gets to keep her mom around. All is solved. Tamra’s at the Women’s Expo and ready to give her Keynote address. She’s looking great in a red dress. She cracks a couple of jokes that get no laughs. She starts her speech and there are tears in her voice. She talks about how her tough exterior is a mask for her insecurity and why she is the way she is. It seems like Tamra had a little enlightenment up on that stage. Good for her! Plus 20 . Tamra’s got to have a tough discussion with her mother after a speech that ripped apart her childhood. The only time Tamra can remember her parents telling her that they loved her was when she was 21 years old. Minus 4 . Not knowing how to express her emotions makes Tamra an angry woman. Terry’s stepping it up to help her out. Way to go, Terry! Plus 10 . Tamra stops in at a jewelry store to look for wedding bands for Eddie. Her plan is to get the ball rolling so he’ll follow suit. Her friend Lauri stops in to help her shop. The jeweler pours a glass of champagne to “loosen her up.” Pretty sure it didn’t take champagne. Lauri tells Tamra that her goal after marrying her husband George was to blend their family. Then she invokes She Who Will Not Be Named (Vicki) and Tamra tells Lauri all about how she was the only one who stood by Vicki and all the drama with Brooks. Apparently Vicki breached confidences between Tamra and Simon and broke girl code. Minus 5 . At Chez McLaughlin, Lydia’s mom walks across the street to visit. They look at photos from Lydia’s childhood and Lydia’s mom says she’s had some “human lapses.” Glittermama’s still smoking up. Lydia feels like her mom is choosing pot over her but mom just likes to get baked and run with the bunnies. On the set of Hot In Cleveland , Heather has a table read with Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, and Wendi Malick. The table read goes well and Heather gets the laughs. Plus 5 . While Heather was at her table read, Alexis visited an acting school. After playing a news anchor on General Hospital , she’s convinced she knows everything about being an actor. She’s so uncomfortable when she’s nervous. And she was incredibly nervous. Terry’s home with the kids and calls himself “very permissive.” But he’s handling it. Plus 8 The following morning, Terry makes coffee and gets the kids out the door for Heather. Plus 10 . Slade and Gretchen are checking out of a hotel in San Diego aftet taking a little trip for Gretchen’s birthday. Instead of just whisking her away for a weekend, he also surprises her with a Rolls Royce. Except she sort of bought the car for herself with the help of their financial advisor. So, happy birthday? In the limo on the way to Heather’s taping, Lydia and Tamra talk about Lydia’s mom. Tamra doesn’t crack any inappropriate jokes or tell Lydia to lighten up. Plus 2. While everyone else heads to Heather’s taping, Alexis heads to her first acting class. In her one-on-one she says she’s excited. But her excitement looks a lot like nerves. She says acting comes naturally for her. She would be wrong. Minus 12 . Tamra finds out the taping might last from 5:00 p.m. until midnight and suddenly regrets her decision to tag along. She especially regrets it when she finds she’s seated one seat away from Vicki. Gretchen and Slade aren’t there yet and Heather knows it. Minus 15 . Lydia’s very complimentary of Heather’s acting, as is Vicki. Heather’s rocking it! Plus 7 . Finally, Gretchen and Slade show up, but as soon as they’re seated, they leave again to look at something on Slade’s phone. They sneak back in just in time for Heather’s awesome line “I’ll cut you like bad bangs, bitch!” After acting again, Heather feels like the pieces of her puzzle are in place. Plus 12 . Tamra’s not impressed with the fact that Slade bought Gretchen a Rolls Royce. Vicki can’t say anything in the one-on-one except that she thinks Gretchen’s stupid. Lydia instigates a conversation between Tamra and Vicki about the way they parted at the winery. They agree to sweep it all under the rug. Gretchen’s a little miffed. Minus 8 . Previously on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki invited Alexis to a party at Tamra’s new gym. Because nothing says “let’s be friends again” like inviting your former friend’s worst enemy to a party. Oh, Vicki. What else will Lady Gunvalson stir up? Read our THG +/- recap to find out now! Alexis comes to visit Vicki and gives her a little Rah Rah about her plastic surgery. And a mirror so she’ll always know how beautiful she is. Okay, okay, it’s kind of sweet. Plus 4 . Vicki drops the bomb on Alexis that she wants Alexis to come to the party at Tamra’s with her. When Vicki says she needs Alexis there, Alexis’ tone changes. Alexis wants to bring Lydia so Vicki texts Tamra to find out if that’s okay. Tamra’s response: “Yeah. I just don’t want any nonsense. This is supposed to be a happy time.” Just to recap, Alexis agrees to go to a party where she knows she’s not really wanted and asks to bring a guest. Minus 8 . Heather’s got a gig on a talk radio station. She filling in for one of their regulars to try and figure out how big the career piece of her life puzzle is. Plus 5 . Heather decides to tackle the topic of bullying on her radio show since she’s been accused of bullying Alexis. Heather tells the story of how she was bullied growing up and says that what happened to Alexis wasn’t bullying. Lydia and Alexis are getting the kids together to decorate cookies. Lydia answers the door in a skirt so short her butt is actually hanging out of it. Or maybe those are shorts? While they’re outside, Lydia tells Alexis about her meeting with Heather. Someone needs to make a gif of Alexis drinking her coffee when Lydia tells her that she knows about Cubic Zirconia-gate. Plus 4 to the person who makes that happen. Back at Casa Dubrow, Terry’s tired and doesn’t want to go out to dinner with Doug and Lydia. The Dubrows are still angling for the magazine cover, but Doug lets them down and Terry cracks a joke. Heather’s not amused. Heather says they’re not interested and Lydia seems bummed. Lydia tells the table that her mother just moved into Alexis’ old house and conversation eventually turns to the fact that Lydia will be at the party at Tamra’s gym as a guest of Alexis. Heather’s so great under pressure. Plus 5 . Slade is headed to New York to be with his son who is having another surgery. Gretchen breaks down when she thinks about how hard this is for Slade. Tamra’s getting ready for her party when Eddie comes in. She asks for advice about her dress and then snaps at him. Misplaced aggression, party of one! Minus 5 She’s upset that she said yes to Alexis being welcome at her party and hopes she will be able to keep her cool. Tamra bought special wine glasses for Gretchen and Heather but not for any of the other guests at her party. That’s sure to go over well. Minus 8 . Lydia’s a “woohoo” girl. Just like Vicki. Minus 10 . Tamra decides that Lydia is guilty by association despite the fact that Heather tries to stick up for her. Tamra has a psychic medium come over to cleanse and bless her space. The psychic feels like there will be 6 weeks until the gym is open instead of 4 and then says that the night will be smooth. Something tells me she’s not the real deal. Vicki, Lydia, and Alexis walk in and no one gets up to greet them. Heather tells Alexis it’s nice to see her and Alexis immediately calls her a phony in a one-on-one. Minus 7. She gives her peace offering to Tamra and says that businesswoman to businesswoman she wishes Tamra the best. Plus 10 . Tamra takes the ladies over to the renderings of the gym and explains what things will look like once it’s all set up and things seem to be going smoothly. Until they all sit down again. Alexis says “it takes a lot! Even a small dress line. It takes a lot!” Minus 15. Lydia thinks the room feels tense and like it’s clear that she, Alexis, and Vicki aren’t welcome to sit with the “cool” girls. Conversation is so awkward and stilted as Lydia starts grilling Gretchen on whether she has kids or is married or has a boyfriend. Gretchen says she’s got a boyfriend who is a great man and Vicki looks like she smelled something foul. Minus 12 . Tamra starts talking about the area and how she likes it because it’s industrial and Vicki interrupts with “it’s across the street from my office!” Minus 8 . Gretchen starts muttering under her breath that it’s all about Vicki again. Vicki does have a habit of doing that. Tamra asks about Troy and Vicki says “I’ve got a baby now!” Gretchen says “You’ve got a baby?” And Vicki mutters “She’s a stupid person.” Minus 8 . Heather looks so, so uncomfortable during the entire exchange and then asks if dinner’s ready. Vicki thanks Tamra for letting her bring Alexis and Tamra asks, in the spirit of honesty, why Alexis wanted to come. Once Alexis starts talking, she doesn’t stop. She’s all “bullying” and “ganging up on me” and “y’all are mean!” Minus 50 . Heather doesn’t say a word to Alexis and Alexis even starts in on Heather. Tamra says she felt she was gracious for even allowing Alexis to step foot in her space. Heather tries to have a conversation and Alexis keeps yelling over her. Tamra tries to give Heather the floor but Alexis tells her to butt out. Minus 25. And that leads Tamra to tell Alexis to get the f*** out. EPISODE TOTAL: -128 SEASON TOTAL: -27
