Sorry, Not Sorry: St. Louis Rams Slam Reports That They Apologized To St. Louis Police For “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” Gesture

“ Who you finna try ? I bet it ain’t me, ooh b**** it ain’t me, CAPS, CAPS, CAPS, CAPS!” Via USAToday St. Louis County police and the Rams are at odds Monday night over whether a team official apologized for the “hands up-don’t shoot” gesture performed by five players before Sunday’s game. Neither law enforcement officials nor Kevin Demoff, the Rams’ executive vice president and chief operations officer, dispute that Demoff reached out to St. Louis area police officials on Monday, a day after five Rams players made the famous gesture during pregame introductions. The content of those conversations, and the semantics of Demoff’s words, are up for debate. Demoff told the St. Louis Post-Dispatchthat he did not apologize for the players’ actions, but that he “regretted any offense their officers may have taken.” “We do believe it is possible to both support our players’ First Amendment rights and support the efforts of local law enforcement as our community begins to heal,” Demoff told the paper late Monday. In an email to USA TODAY Sports on Monday night, St. Louis County police spokesman Brian Schellman said Chief Jon Belmar “believed it to be an apology.” “[Demoff] further stated ‘I regretted any offense the officer’s may have taken.’ Even though Mr. Demoff stated he never apologized, the Chief believed it to be an apology and the Chief sent the email to police staff to let them know about the call, after he told Mr. Demoff he would share his sentiments with his staff,” Schellman said. Indeed, Belmar followed up that call by writing a memo to his staff. In that memo, obtained by the Post-Dispatch, the chief told officers that Demoff “regretted that any members of the [Rams’] organization would act in a way that minimized the outstanding work that police officers and departments carry out each and every day.” Peep the slick isht the janky azz St. Louis Police posted to their Twitter page: GTFOHWTBS! A porn company is banking on the fact that you really, really want to see a 58-year old man naked. Sex.com has seen snippets of the Hulk Hogan sex tape and has made the famous wrestler an offer larger than his… you know. According to TMZ, the website has penned a complimentary letter to Hogan in which it acknowledges his claim that the video was made without his permission and writes: “While this may be an embarrassing ordeal for you to go through right now, it doesn’t need to be … you are ‘bigger’ than Andre the Giant where it matters.” The adult site says it has an “open checkbook” if Hulk is interested in signing a deal that would release the full tape into its possession. It would then make the 30-minute session available to the public. Hulk asserts he had no knowledge he was being filmed receiving oral pleasure and has threatened to sue those behind its leak.

Les Grossman Shows The ‘Risky Business’ Of 2010 MTV Movie Awards

See how the ‘Tropic Thunder’ movie exec made the famous tighty-whities scene a reality. By Jocelyn Vena In honor of the upcoming 2010 MTV Movie Awards , Les Grossman (of “Tropic Thunder” fame) is sharing some “Great Moments in Movie History,” starting with a behind-the-scenes stroke of genius on the 1983 set of “Risky Business.” As we hear the intro of Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll,” we’re ready for a pants-less Joel Goodsen to come sliding out — only this time, he’s wearing khakis. Grossman makes it clear that he is not a fan of the chinos. “Did anyone else see this? Someone just took a dump in my eyes!” he shouts at the crew before tearing off the pants. “This is a teen movie, and teens love a–. Now dance, monkey! Let’s roll on this.” With that last-minute decision, movie history was made. Grossman is the latest high-profile name to get involved with the MTV Movie Awards promos. Justin Bieber recently hooked up with the show’s host, Aziz Ansari, and “The Hurt Locker” star Jeremy Renner, who yelled at the pop star to “relax on the chips there, cowboy.” Also, former Movie Awards host Sarah Silverman , along with Zac Efron, Diddy and Kristen Bell, gave fans a history of Ansari in a promo. “There was this Halloween once,” Zac Efron said of Aziz’s past displays of heroism. “Someone needed to step up and dress like a pumpkin, but no one wanted to do it except Aziz. He saved a lot of lives that day. And that’s why I’m glad he’s hosting the MTV Movie Awards.” Don’t miss the 2010 MTV Movie Awards , airing live from Los Angeles on Sunday, June 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
