Tyra Banks showed up to the opening night of the 2011 Metropolitan Opera Season yesterday rocking a beautiful gown, nice earrings (that didn’t match) and a hair-do that looked, well, still wet from her shower. We can’t imagine that a supermodel like Tyra, who’s made a fortune from schooling other aspiring models on style and first impressions, would walk a red carpet in this fashion faux pas. So, does this mean this damp look was intentional? Is this a new trend? If not described as wet, it could also be called greasy. Neither of which tickle our fancy. Are you feeling it? It is a call for accountability for both MEN and WOMEN to be mindful of the huge responsibility and privilege they have when bringing a child into the world. SMH… via NYPost.com : Rwandan President Paul Kagame is living in luxury during the United Nations General Assembly, staying in the $16,000-per-night presidential suite at the Mandarin Oriental. Kagame’s rooms have “panoramic views of Central Park, the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline,” says the hotel’s Web site. Rwanda’s average annual income last year was $1,150, according to the World Bank. Kagame, whose reps didn’t get back to us, is one of many world leaders with spending sprees on their UN agendas, despite the dismal global economic climate. Saudi leaders are at The Plaza, sources said, and a group of them headed to the hotel’s Warren-Tricomi salon yesterday for grooming. N***as, boy…
