Dancing with the Stars Bids Farewell to Niecy Nash

Somewhat predictably, Niecy Nash was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday after receiving the lowest scores from judges and viewers alike. Voted off Dancing with the Stars after the eighth week, th e How Clean is Your House host and actress on Reno 911 took the elimination well, and in stride. In her exit interview, she says she was proud to make it this far as a 40-year-old mom of three against some of the great dancers remaining on the stage. Tom, admitting he’s a fan, complimented her on achieving moments of elegance with partner Louis Van Amstel, of which there were surprisingly many. Her last request? That the band play something so that everyone can “get krunk.” That’s why Niecy Nash is awesome, and how you go out in style. Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel dance farewell. Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke joined Niecy and Louis in the bottom two for the first time, which was fitting, given the two couples’ lower Monday scores. Whether he can skate by into the final three is another story. Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough performed an encore of their perfect Paso Doble from the other night, which Tom deemed the best in the show’s history. Dancing with the Stars Recap: Nicole Scherzinger Owns It

If there were ever any doubt who the woman to beat is this season on Dancing with the Stars, Nicole Scherzinger knocked it out of the park on Monday night. Following Evan Lysacek’s perfect 30 just one week ago, Nicole notched her own 10-10-10 series last night – then followed it up with a 29 in her second effort. That’s a total of 59 for the Paso Doble and Foxtrot, thankyouverymuch . With performances like these two bring every week, it’s like everyone else is dancing for second. They probably are. Fortunately, that’s a compelling contest. Evan and Anna Trebunskaya were typically solid, tying for second place at an aggregate 53 with Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, still our favorites. Maks going Miami Vice for their ’80s rumba was a nice touch, and we’re happy Erin didn’t take the advice of Elisabeth Hasselbeck and tone down the outfits. Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough dominated . Chad Ochocinco stumbled a bit (maybe due to #85 having to perform a ’60s jive), landing him well back of the leaders along with Niecy Nash this week. Last night’s full scoreboard: Nicole Scherzinger & Derek Hough – Foxtrot: 29. Paso Doble: 30. Total: 59 . Erin Andrews & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Tango: 28. Rumba: 25. Total: 53 . Evan Lysacek & Anna Trebunskaya – Waltz: 27. Cha-cha: 26. Total: 53 . Chad Ochocinco & Cheryl Burke – Tango – 21. Jive: 24. Total: 45 . Niecy Nash & Louis Van Amstel – Waltz: 23. Paso Doble: 20. Total: 43 . Who’s going home this evening? It’s not looking good for Niecy, once again, although Chad barely edged her out. It’s got to be one of those two, right?
