Nate, whose real name is Nathaniel Hale, is believed to have died from complications due to his two strokes — one suffered in 2007 and another the following year . His impact on West Coast hip-hop could not be overstated, as Nate helped pioneer the G-Funk sound with his deep, soulful voice on Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle and his breakthrough collaboration with Warren G, “Regulate.” Nate was feature on a 1995 episode of “Yo! MTV Raps,” when Fab Five Freddy paid a visit to Cali to speak with Tha Dogg Pound and their affiliates, also including Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Sam Sneed and Lady of Rage. “You know Tha Dogg Pound got mad flavor, multiple flavors like Baskin-Robbins,” Fab Five said. “And one of the interesting flavors in the Dogg is my man, Nate Dogg.” A reserved Nate stepped up to the microphone, detailing to Fab Five how he made a name for himself on Dre’s and Snoop’s projects. Nate cited Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson as his idols. • Creditors accept deal of minimum 20p in the pound • Over 80% of creditors believed to have voted in favour of deal Portsmouth will be allowed to move out of administration after its creditors voted to accept a Company Voluntary Agreement. The deal, which was formally agreed at a meeting at Fratton Park today, will see those owed money by the Championship club paid a minimum of 20p in the pound. However there is still a 28-day cooling off period for objections to be raised. The formal agreement of creditors must now be accepted in a court of law. According to reports, a total of 81.3% of creditors voted in favour of the deal. The hearing revealed that although HMRC’s claim went up from £17m to £37m, the club’s administrators managed to reduce their claim to £24m, meaning they were able to get their deal through despite the taxman’s objections. Andrew Andronikou, the administrator, told the meeting at the Victory Lounge: “As you can see it’s been duly approved.” Portsmouth became the first Premier League team to enter administration when they did so on 26 February this year. That led to a nine-point penalty and the club were relegated at the end of the season. Nigel Tresidder, chairman of the Pompey Supporters’ Club central branch, attended the meeting and said he was buoyed by the outcome but concerned about the likelihood of HM Revenue and Customs appealing. “It’s excellent news other than HMRC have 28 days to appeal against it,” he said. “I think the people in charge of the club are confident of winning any appeal but it’s time the uncertainty came to an end.” Portsmouth Business guardian.co.uk

A strong earthquake hits northern Sumatra, Indonesia earlier today, Wednesday April 6. USGS reported it was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake, while other sources said it’s 7.8. This earthquake that shook Sumatra has spawned about 215 km (135 miles) from it epicenter. There were at least 5 aftershocks recorded after that, with magnitude of up to 5.2. The northern Sumatra earthquake has also prompted several tsunami alerts. There were reported injuries already and one casualties. We will bring you more updates once they become available. Let’s pray for the safety of our friends in Sumatra, Indonesia. Earlier this week, earthquakes in California shook San Diego, Los Angeles and also parts of Mexico .
