Katy Perry & John Mayer: Teaming Up For Taylor Swift Diss Song?

Unless you’ve been spent the last week hiding from the Internet for fear of hearing anything negative about your beloved Duggars, you’ve probably encountered Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” video . The clip, which features Swifty and several of her famous friends rocking $13,000 in sex shop clothes went mega-viral for obvious reasons and now has nearly 90 million views on YouTube. Unfortunately, not everyone was a fan of Taylor’s badass antics. We learned several months ago that “Bad Blood” was written about Taylor’s feud with Katy Perry , and we’re guessing KP was none too thrilled to see the song has become a massive success as a single. So perhaps it’s not surprising that Katy is penning her own response with the help of John Mayer, who’s something of an expert (Read: “has slept with”) both girls. “Katy thinks revenge is a dish best served cold,” a source tells Heat magazine. “She’s even more determined to show people what she calls ‘the real Taylor,’ she’s writing some big, anthemic-type songs that’ll feature dirt on Taylor that John’s told her from when they used to date.” Katy and John are back together for the moment (We give it a week.), and while most of her fans thought the reconciliation was a bad move for Katy, it might be well worth if it means delivering a crippling, radio-friendly blow to her arch rival. Yes, we’ve got a full-blown pop diva feud going on, and Mayer has positioned himself squarely in the middle. We’re sure it’s only a matter of time before he proposes the idea of getting in between Katy and Taylor in another way.  View Slideshow: 21 Celebrity Feuds We Never Saw Coming

Jeff Prescott, Kate Gosselin Boyfriend, ALSO Accused of Neglecting Kids!

Kate Gosselin and her new boyfriend Jeff Prescott certainly have something in common. That’s usually a good sign in any relationship. In this case, however? That common bond comes in the form of the millionaire entrepreneur’s own history of poor parenting allegations. Jon Gosselin is fighting his ex-wife for custody in the wake of shocking reports that Kate Gosselin ditched her kids for four days recently. Without leaving a phone number where she could be reached, no less. Prior to that, Jon received temporary custody of their daughter Hannah after a complaint was filed over Kate’s cruelty toward the girl. Jeff hasn’t been down that road, but his own situation is interesting. His former wife Michelle Jones accused the 51-year-old of neglecting his three children during the couple’s nasty 2006 divorce, according to Radar . Court documents claim her husband of nearly 20 years has had “infrequent” visits with Ashley, Brooke, and Connor, who were then 19, 14 and 10. She also alleged Jeff often left town “on business and pleasure,” without giving his estranged wife or their kids, one of whom is disabled, any notice. “There have been times when he has not answered his cell phone for days,” Jones claimed then, in a remark eerily similar to Kate’s situation. View Slideshow: Kate Gosselin: 32 Photos of a Terrible Mother At one point, Jones sought a restraining order against Prescott for “jealous” behavior, she claimed the father of three upset his teen daughter. “He told her that all sorts of terrible thing were going to happen if I obtained a restraining order such as ‘loss of our home,’” she alleged. In a supposed attempt to manipulate her, “He told her that she may ‘not be able to go to college.’ He told her we may go ‘bankrupt.’” Jeff Prescott admits the split was nasty, but says it’s in the past. “As for the divorce issues, most of them do not carry any merit,” he explains. “We went through some tough times that were short lived.” Prescott adds that the couple’s three children have “awesome values as a result of having a good mother and a caring, loving father.” “Michelle and I get along great and have for a long time.” Jones tells Radar she has given Prescott and Gosselin her blessing, as “he deserves happiness,” so they see eye to eye now at least. Tony Blair "depressed" in aftermath of Iraq War

Tony Blair descended into such a deep depression after the Iraq war that he told Gordon Brown and John Prescott he would quit No 10 the following summer – only to renege on the pledge within months, a new book by the Observer's Andrew Rawnsley reveals. The former prime minister's physical and mental decline was so profound that he confided to friends that he “spaced out” several times during Prime Minister's Questions and often woke up in the middle of the night with sweat trickling down the back of his neck. Rawnsley's explosive account is in The End of the Party, which is published on Monday , extracts from which appear in tomorrow's Observer. It lays bare, for the first time, how Blair was haunted and tormented by the deepening chaos and bloodshed in Iraq at the same time as being worn down by the constant psychological warfare being waged by Brown, his next-door neighbour in Downing Street, who was increasingly desperate to take his job. While Blair's gift for presentation helped him hide his depression from the public and most of his staff, his private turmoil was so severe that he decided there was nothing for it but to hand over to Brown midway through his second term. Rawnsley is the first journalist to detail how Blair, in those darkest days, made clear at a dinner with both Brown and Prescott in November 2003, and later in a telephone call to Prescott in spring 2004, that he would step down. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/feb/27/andrew-rawnsley-tony-blair-iraq added by: jeffissleeping
