That’s Not Chicken: Mike Tyson Describes The Taste Of Evander Holyfield’s Ear

The OTHER white meat… Mike Tyson Describes The Taste Of Evander Holyfield’s Ear This guy is the epitome of pure comedy . It’s been almost exactly fifteen years since the infamous rematch between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. The bout has become known for the crazy moment when Tyson bit off a chuk of Holyfield’s ear. It’s a moment Tyson has been asked about consistently since then, and his appearance on “Watch What Happens: Live” (Sun.-Thu., 11 p.m. ET on Bravo) proved no different. During host Andy Cohen’s “Plead the Fifth” segment, he was asked point-blank what human ear tasted like. Tyson is so used to the topic coming up by this point that he barely reacted at all. Instead, he quipped,”Depends on which ear that you bite.” Tyson ultimately admitted that it doesn’t taste too good, leading Cohen to crack a joke that it might have needed Holyfield’s Hot Sauce. “That would’ve been a delicacy,” Tyson agreed. Holyfield had cracked the joke about his new product on the anniversary of the infamous bout, Tweeting that his hot sauce “will make u wanna take a bite out of someone’s ear! Ask @MikeTyson – Luv ya bro!” Apparently when the checks stop coming in , it’s the laughs that bring in the money. Source

Lockout Woes Continue: David Stern Says We Might As Well Cancel Christmas Games

David Stern has been making his media rounds today and said that he’s doubtful about a the NBA coming back by Christmas. Damn, Damn, DAMN!!!! Commissioner David Stern said his “gut” tells him there will be no NBA basketball on Christmas without a labor agreement by Tuesday. That day, when owners and players are scheduled to meet with a federal mediator, is a “really big deal,” he added. Owners will then open two days of board meetings Wednesday, and without an agreement to bring them, Stern believes further cancellations are coming. “Right now, Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday, just before my owners come into town, having brought in the labor relations committee and Billy (Hunter) having brought in his executive committee, it’s time to make the deal,” Stern said Thursday. “If we don’t make it on Tuesday, my gut — this is not in my official capacity of canceling games — but my gut is that we won’t be playing on Christmas Day.” Stern canceled the first two weeks of the regular season on Monday when the sides couldn’t reach a deal before a deadline he had set. Christmas is traditionally on of the first big days of the NBA season. This year’s three-game schedule features the NBA Finals rematch between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat. Look on the bright side: LeBron won’t blow a game on Christmas Day if the game is canceled! It’s like a Christmas miracle! Well, actually, it just really sucks. Source
