We have a new contender for Worst Use of Photoshop in the History of the Internet. Congratulations, Target! The company became the laughingstock of the World Wide Web today after an ad for a two-piece bathing suit went viral… with the model at the center of it missing a certain key piece of her anatomy. Did you catch it? Look closer… We hate to tell readers to zero in on a woman’s crotch, but, well… where is the bottom part of it?!? As if this weren’t embarrassing enough, take a look at the model’s armpits. Yikes! She has spikes coming out of her skin! In a statement to Buzzfeed, a Target spokesperson said: “this was an unfortunate error on our part and we apologize. We have removed the image from our website.” But the damage has already been done. We’ve seen the magic of Photoshop transform a model into a supposedly perfect, Barbie-like figure before, but when will companies learn?!?
