We previously reported , Carey asked for $50 million in court after her split from her ex-fiance, claiming the relationship inconvenienced her by forcing her to uproot her life in New York to move to LA. The case also noted a leg of her tour that was apparently cancelled due to Packer. The death knell of their relationship was an argument in Greece involving Packer and Carey’s assistant that ‘traumatized’ the ‘Butterfly’ singer. Now that the dust has settled, Carey reportedly walked away with between $5 and $10 million, and gets to keep her massive engagement ring–allegedly worth less than the $10 million dollars it was originally appraised for. Daytime Rap Queen: E-V-E Is Coming Back To The Tube As Regular Host On “The Talk”

Eve Joins The Talk As Host Congratulations are in order for Philly repping MC Eve. The rapper/actress just secure the bag and her seat on popular daytime talk show “The Talk”. Deadline reports Eve Jeffers Cooper made her official debut today, after appearing as guest co-host during the week of October 13. She joins Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood on the CBS daytime entertainment show. Angelica McDaniel, EVP Daytime Programs at CBS Entertainment, says Eve “brings a fun and fresh perspective to our already diverse panel” and will add “a new layer to the show as we continue to evolve season to season.” Eve sounds excited about the new gig. “I think what I’m looking forward to the most is showcasing my personality and who I am now as a woman. In my career, people know me from my music and I have done certain things in entertainment, but this is a different avenue for me.”
